Maybe, but probably not. Nothing as insignificant as short range telepathy has ever made a GM look back and say "what was I thinking?".

Also, errata1.1. I think it's the latest version and deals both with some complications regarding Into the Storm and Lure of The Expanse.

Yeah, sadly I couldn't clinch the power armour dealer. I beat him by 4 DoF to my 0, but sadly I didn't have any DoS.

But I did boost us by 10 PF for the las cannon!

EDIT: Also, got the components.

So I'm a little happy.

EDIT2: And I'm not sure if you can try again for Commerce checks in this way.

Our PF is 20.

And I did not acquire the cannon. I simply increased the upper limit of the range you can test for. If the las cannon has a final modifier of +10 (single item, common craftsmanship, very rare), then you would have to roll a 1-40. If you did, you'd get the item. If not, you wouldn't.

What would I have to roll to get the armor again? Very Rare (-20), Negligible Scale (+30), Common Craftsmanship (+0)? 30, right?

It's Extremely Rare, -30, not Very Rare, -20. So it would be a roll of 1-20.

I'm looking at it in the book right now. Power Armor is listed on page 138 as Very Rare.

Edit: I win! I'm putting the contacts in a never taking them off (Dark Vision is awesome for a shooty-type).

I don't think anyone is going to top Taz's purchases. Ship components are just about the most expensive thing, other than like unique artifacts and whole voidships.

Thus, so long as those were acceptable without breaching the load-bearing capacity of the house, I hope everyone else will be able to get their goggles, contacts, flamers and other items.

Also, just to be clear -- do we now know about the message from Dionysus?
