She has since she started taken a man of faith and tried to break him, accused him of rape, got that believed and then went on her jolly way as an opener ... and her reasoning for this because she was bored and there might be some vague benefit with an unmet third party.
She does not think she is a bad person, and would likely never have had any of her misdeeds come back to bit her in a meaningful manner, she does believe that if she can avoid inflicting personal violence on people unless stickly needed for there benefit or to help others (i.e not solely to help herself) that everything else is a matter of other people choosing for themselves regardless of how much of a push she gives them.
The play out with the servant might very well be an example of this if it goes Isabella way.
If she was ugly or average and tried some of these things it would likely fail immediately and she would have to actually become a better person or suffer the consequences, as it is she gets away with things by looking innocent and pretty, having people like being around her and being polite, helpful and courteous.
So yes terrible person (looks good though and that counts for a lot with a lot of people).

I should clarify thought that she does have a reasonable amount of redeeming qualities also and she has had an odd life so I would not blame her overly.

I had a hunch and started searching by skin colors (tanned, olive, and so forth). Results... well, existed.

Quick note about disciplines. We'll be using V20's set. I think most of them are the same as revised? Just strikes me as more efficient.

On dodge I just was reading through the earlier bits and on one it is mentioned that V20 does not use it and in another it mentions that we are using it for combat (per daelrog's rules).
As I took it and you didn't mention I am assuming that we are using it?

(Assuming Jadviga used Mesmerize as opposed to merely an embedded Command.)
Mesmerize doesn't use successes to determine duration, but how well the command takes hold in the victim's subconscious. With three successes, Isabella has to obey unless performing the act would put her in danger. Alas, that caveat doesn't apply here, as the floor is perfectly harmless.

As for dodge, yeah, it's used. Daelrog's houserule, which means characters can both attack and attempt to dodge in the same turn.
As for enchanting voice, I'm going to rule that it has no impact on the servant. She's a bit too terrified to care what Isabella sounds like.
Am I the only one that was reading Isabella's section and picturing Jadviga sneering from beneath a cowl, "If you will not be turned, you will be destroyed!" , "You will pay the price for your lack of vision!" etc

I think V20 uses dodge, it was just rolled with athletics. I am at work and can't check my books though :D.
Do tell me if we have dodge as a separate ability, as I'd have to reassign some ability points. Are we actually using the DA:V skillset and not the V20 one?

I originally wanted to use V20's abilities, but a few of you don't have access to it, so we're using dark ages skills for now. The only V20 change I'm keeping when it comes to abilities is making Linguistics a merit.
About making changes to your sheets, feel free to change anything you want(aside from clan.) Until the embrace nothing is set in stone.
Darn, I guess V20 was made a bit too expensive for mass use... although the .pdf was cheaper. Ah well, if anyone has any questions about how it treats stuff, let me know - I'll look it up as soon as I am able.
Actually, how interchangeable are occult and hearth wisdom? HW always gave me the "poor man's knowledge of anything" vibe, but I've always been wary of putting more than a point there. Also, note to self: in case of emergencies, pick up something to parry with.
What time are you people active, by the way? I see no updates all day, then when I wake up there is a new page .

I'd say you're on the money on the difference between occult and Hearth wisdom. I picture hearth wisdom as herbal remedies and that sort of thing, while occult is more structured knowledge. In some cases they could both be applicable though.
Would climbing in difficult terrain be dex or str related, by the way?
By the way, this might be close to how Benghi looks, although I think his hair would be a bit longer and fairer. He can also be the guy on the left here or, if we want to go with the cliches, this guy.

The last round might be brutal. But for whom? Benghi's built up a lead of 9 successes, so he's in good shape. But his difficulty has been raised, and Dimitra is going to go all out this round. Could be close!

Holy... that was some insane pool. Then again, her max attribute rating is what, 7? I think in DA:V we could get get 6 with 5 dots in generation... I need to raise Benghi's athletics to that .
Edit: Hmm, if I win by that much I probably don't need to spend WP. Then again, I'm pretty sure such an occasion would be significantly close to his nature to merit a point even if he did. Yay Benghi!

Yep, her max is 7, plus she spent blood to temporary raise it even higher. Amusingly enough her athletics is only 2. I think the book got it wrong. Might have to edit a few of these NPC's to fit what they're "supposed" to be.
The max in abilities, attributes, and disciplines for all of your characters is 6. I think you can raise your physical ones to 7 for a scene, and boost them even higher for three turns. Max blood pool is 20.
Mind you, it should be noted 6 is the normal max for 7th gen kindred, which you guys are at the start. There may be a creative way to boost that though, depending on how brave/vile you want your character to be.
