Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
My threads aren't updating properly. Hm.

I usually don't even trust the new posts in the subscribed threads, I just click on show all subscribed threads and look at it personally to see if there have been any new posts since.

Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Feel free to feed me questions to ask the brigands. I think the most important ones are the location of the camp, the number of surviving outlaws, how long before they start getting suspicious and what kind of defences (sentries, traps, physical obstacles etc.) there are.
Or better yet, just ask them yourself. There's always room for a little "good adventurer, bad adventurer" interrogation
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Just a heads up: After the interrogations, and when appropriate, Dhovanu would like to purchase Leather Armor for her animal companion.
It actually is going to cost 40gp I believe, since its small sized but not for a humanoid.
Is that something Oleg and crew could whip up on short notice? I can also retcon it as being something Dhovanu had on her if that'd be more appropriate.
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
I guess someone would have to measure her bird for that armor. I dunno, avian armor's not my specialty.
Also, we need to figure out what to do with the survivors. I've been asking for those Perception and Sense Motive checks, as well as the appearance descriptions to figure out if any of them could be spared the gallows. After all, they did surrender rather swiftly.
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
I think a lot of that would depend on how strict our characters are about following the charter. I'm guessing we have some leeway, but its kind of a big deal to go against orders.
I'm fine with that discussion taking place in-character though.

Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Incidentally, when are we getting our sanctified support? I mean, if we're going after the bandits next, we could easily leave Ela and Vill behind to watch over the prisoners and such...?
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
I figured I'd throw up a short preface before the actual introduction. Once the party has decided how they're going to react to our arrival, I'll post again.
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
It's certainly always helpful, Grognard Hello and welcome to our merry band.
Also, one thing for the whole group... I think we need to agree on that matter of potion distribution. I think we've got two shields of faith and one CLW left. Who takes those?
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Hi Shugyosha, well met again!
Walters will have no means to know that Dern is a paladin, as he will never have mention it or display his faith in any way. He will act more like a likeable mercenary.
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
I'll post when I get home from work this afternoon. Will just be detailing Gedriwyn's movements and then bring Elanore and Crimson out to meet the newcomers, feel free to post again after all it is just the two parties meeting, not having a battle. Once you've all met then we can get rid of Elanore and Crimson and set out on your first journey.

Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Since we are arriving and Gedriwyn is greeting us, I think that Hathar talking to himself through Garess would be tiring. So I stepped up and answered him.
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
If you go to the first page of this thread, where the character sheets are posted, you will see people's names in colours, those are the ones that are taken (except for Crimson and Elanore who have left us so their colours are up for grabs again).
And yeah, speaking to myself would be tiresome indeed. I'll let the others reply now because its obvious by what your saying that the party isn't hostile, so everyone will probably come out anyways.
EDIT:
And yes, he would miss the signs of battle with that roll :P

Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Damn, I try to portray Dern as a very down to earth guy, who likens his party to a dancing show and he still comes out as full of pomp! What is it with paladins that does it? How do I portray self irony?
And honestly, I cannot find a color! It seems that I cannot recognize what color each has? Is red taken?
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
Just mentioning this: whatever we decide to do next, I think we should a take a day at Oleg's Post before we head out to explore the lands properly. Vasili needs to replenish his ammo and powder stock, and unfortunately he requires a full day to do that.
Other than that, there's a chance for gathering information for those with decent ranks in Diplomacy, and deciding what to do with the prisoners. We could offer one or two of them indentured servitude instead of the noose
Re: Harthar's Kingmaker Part One: The Stolen Lands OOC
I'll let Dern have a go at it and then if doesn't manage to pull off some good scores and ask the right questions then I'll give Gedriwyn a go and see what might have been missed.
As for using Google Docs instead of Mythweavers, I would say no. Mythweavers can be accessed by everyone and its easy to understand, whereas googledocs you need to have a gmail account and even then it isn't allowing me to view it, so no to that sorry man.
