(Your pitch is the worst i've seen so far here. Mind trying again? )
Yeah. Webcomic hybrid? War? Those words are pretty damn vague. Just ignoring hybrid, since I have no idea what the hell that's supposed to be, what war? Proxy war? Civil war? International war? World war? Green soldier, vet, merc, civilian, volunteer guerilla, police officer, spy, other government agent? Swords and spears? Swords and sorcery? Modern warfare? Steampunk? Magitech? Early 1900s tech? Red Alert tech? Lasers and warp drives? Air combat, naval combat, foot soldiers, mechanized infantry, mechas?
Edit: Checked it out... now I'm even more confused about what you're trying to do.
It seems to be an interactive web comic as where you click takes you to next part.
Except it doesn't seem to make any sense. Both options for "a man looks upon the death of a comrade" lead to "you're working in a steel mine" (nevermind that steel mines don't actually exist). Other links lead to similarly confusing pages, and I can only gather that it's either a very poorly explained "start in an average situation, end up in a war" thing, or that he's just randomly linking to other works of his.
Yeah, steel mines just aren't a thing. You only find steel in small deposits nestled along bronze veins, so it'd be a bronze mine that also produces some steel on the side.

Yeah, I'll admit it needs work.
The idea was good/original; though the execution needs work.

Please tell me that's sarcasm. I'm 99 percent sure it is, but with everything I've read today, im not sure.

I dunno about finding steel deposits next to bronze, but I do know that steel veins aren't a thing. It's iron veins, and then there's a couple different processes you can use to turn it into steel.

I might be wrong, maybe it's steel veins intertwined with brass veins. I get brass and bronze mixed up sometimes.

I think you mixed up iron with steel. Neither of them are interchangeable. Iron is what you get from the ground (Elements) while Steel is what you got when you mix Iron and Carbon (Compound).

And technically, iron doesn't come in veins either. It comes in ore of one type or another that has to be turned into iron, then steel.
You CAN find copper as the regular metal on its own, but its going to be in nuggets and fans generally. It will sometimes vein, but more commonly you're going to find gold and silver as veins.
Now, you CAN often find copper and tin ore together, in fact they used to think there was bronze ore, because the smelting process gave bronze due to the fact that they were making the alloy during the smelting process, but eventually they figured it out.
Also, steel is not a compound. It is an alloy, the iron and carbon don't chemically bond, they fit together more like different sized grains of sand being poured together.
