Oh dang, I'm really sorry you guys. Some unforeseen health issues popped up, and that's why I've been gone for so long. But I'm better now, so we can get it started back up again, if you'd still like to.

God, I love Sidereal charms. Adam is now perfectly invisible to anything less than Essence 4. He also intends to break a window in and start with the violence inside, once he's worked out where the target is. If the other two can approach from the front door, we can trap said target between us.

Oh, I was waiting for Rhyvurg to do his join battle roll.

And... that's 21 successes on my disarm attempt, which is reduced to 19 by the penalties that maneuver imposes. Deduct whatever Capstone's DV is from that, and then he has to roll Wits+Firearms and get at least as many successes as I have left, or his gun is knocked several feet away from him.
17, 13, 13 and 6 successes on the remaining four attacks, against an increasingly low DV through onslaught penalties. Any successes remaining from each are individually applied to a base damage of 10L, which I would then have to roll to cut Capstone into pieces.
Of course, he might very well have defenses. Being essence 4 and having the Adorjani charm of Laughing Gust Denial would enable him to apply a single perfect dodge against all attacks in this tick, but he's not currently dashing, so he can't use that. Otherwise, I think he might have to rely on firing a perfect defense against every attack in that flurry, which is going to be vicious on the essence reserves. Especially since he said he hasn't been doing this very long.
I admit, I'm halfway hoping for the traditional samurai movie moment of Adam pausing, and then Capstone collapsing into pieces behind him. Might not happen, but hey, a man can hope.
Edit: That's also all encompassed in a single, speed 4 action. Which I think means I actually act simultaneously with Homer... or a tick behind him. I never have quite gotten the hang of the combat timing rules...

This may me being overly curious, but why didn't you have Maugan roll any damage Horus?
Sorry about the delay, I've been out of town.
I probably should have mentioned this before, but instead of using a post to tell him that he could roll for damage, I just did the roll myself. That's what I've been doing in my other pbp games, and it seems to work out pretty well there. But if you'd like, I won't do that anymore.

No that's fine. After thinking about it I figured that's what it was. And I'm all for it if it speeds up PBP combat.

Well. Best of luck to you two, who walked right in the front door and did this whole thing very obviously. Extra good wishes to Homer, who not only shot up the front of a hotel in broad daylight, but is currently flaring fully Totemic essence banner.
Adam, by contrast, entered and exited completely invisibly (like, outside fate invisible, so not even Sidereal stuff will pick him up) through a third story window, left no bullet casings, used no peripheral essence and didn't even strike the killing blow on Capstone (so, quite probably protected from the google-spider). He'll come break you guys out of jail in a bit if necessary.
Think it's pretty obvious which characters have experience in relatively covert assassinations

Sorry that I've been gone for a few days. I was out of town for Christmas, but now that I actually have access to a computer again, I'll be able to pick things back up.
