Something i would like to try. Dm allows all wizard books an 32 point build starts at lvl 3. I have no experience with warlock, but cha is good for both. Dm allows variant paladins, thinking elf with fey pact?
Off the top of my head that doesn't seem like the best combo.
Unlike the sorcerer the warlock has fairly little reason to pump is cha into the stratosphere, while he does have greater equipment dependence to make doing so harder. He also can't share his invocations with his special mount (if you even get one) since they're spell-likes not spells.
Which one were you thinking of favoring, or did you intend to blend the two more or less evenly?

The dm allows all alignment to be pally based on your god. Some varients in ua like of freedom. Certain evil gods like cyric and bane have them to with little mods. Even can go blackguard, but he would make me start as a good pally and fall. That could work into warlock that way. Want to be melee based, like the Hellfire glaive, but I dont know enough about them. War forged are out. It is base races forgotten relms plus templates thar make sense.
At work, so no books right now, but thinking pally 2 for divine grace, warlock untill 3rd level spells, eldrith knight to progress to point I could go hellfire warlock? Don't know if that would work?

Warlock doesn't get spells, and invocations don't count for qualifying for prestige classes that require spells of a specific level (CA p18).
