Drew a Chef, how do I make it my pic?

Hello fellow posters,
I have drawn a picture of an oots chef and I have no idea how to get a jpg onto my profile pic, it says I have to enter something that starts with html and ends in .jpg and I don't know how to make that picture into an html.
If anybody knows how to convert it or whatever it is I need to do, please let me know. Thank you all!

Typically people host their avatar on a site like Photobucket or Imageshack and then use the direct link that's provided.

Well, they're both free sites, so you can just make an account for one of them and use that.

Sadly, for some reason the direct link is giving me a white square. I resized the image to be 256 tall, is that still too big possibly?

Avatars are 120x120, so you need to resize it to that size (smaller works as well).
