Depends. Will matter when it matters, probably in the 20+ neighborhood. Though, it matters on how it plays out,NAND by the time you'd get there it's likely to be over with.
Yeah, makes sense. I was just wondering if it would blow our cover.
Mithril is going to run circles around the rest of us later in the game. Say, Athedia, Zman, what do you think of Mithril using Craft feat shenanigans to help Natalia make magical traps?
I'm waiting on Admiral; I honestly don't know what Shiny's going to say next. Or what our consensus is. Send the orc on a wild goose chase, bring others out for an ambush? I'm honestly not sure what the whole group wants to do. And we still have info on whether or not there is going to be an imminent attack.

I'm generally opposed to anything involving shenanigans. I still think combat Trapsmith is your better get since the traps are more usable. Though, I promise, I'll have more use for your trap skills.

I was using the term shenanigans in a playful sense. But can Mithril help Natalia make magic traps, if she so desires?
I almost feel sorry for the poor sap going after Mithril's spellbook.
Other than the fact that she literally sleeps on it I would be worried for reasons other than traps. Whiskers is a weasel. A weasel with a very strong connection to his mistress and an unwillingness to let her be sad. A weasel who can fit up a pant leg. A weasel who once he bites doesn't let go.

And if for some reason they're not around then you'll probably be able to see the explosion from the other side of the Moonsea.
I am not keen on taking an traits or flaws, mostly because I don't feel like I need a mechanic for playing Mithril how I feel she is. In my mind she already has plenty of both.
What does everyone thing about being given the option to take a flaw and or trait at the next level up? I know most people end up very lean on feats.
Hm, I'm neutral. I'll take a look at what's there and think about it.

SRD:
Absent Minded
You are fascinated by knowledge and learning and are capable of pursuing complex trains of thought quite quickly. However, your preoccupation with such thoughts makes you a little less aware of your surroundings.
Benefit
You gain a +1 bonus on Knowledge checks (although this does not let you use a Knowledge skill untrained).
Drawback
You take a -1 penalty on Spot checks and Listen checks.
Roleplaying Ideas
Characters with this trait might flit from idea to idea, trailing off in mid-sentence or mumbling their way through complex ideas. Conversely, characters with this trait might be extremely articulate but still allow their thoughts to move faster than the pace of a conversation.
Oh, I didn't realize play was waiting on me- I wanted to see what the other players thought I should do. I should ask the remaining intel questions of the orc. We probably won't have to set up an ambush; orcs will be on their way anyway.
As for traits/flaws: I am very opposed to them. I think in this group particularly, we've done a great job roleplaying flaws without needing to have some counteracting advantage for them. I also think they are frequently unbalanced.
Take this flaw as an example (pathological liar). It sounds at first glance like it would be perfect for Shiny.
But Shiny has (so far mysterious) reasons for lying the way he does, and they're important to him and to me as a player. Offering him a bonus feat for playing him that way cheapens the choice and turns it into a min/max situation.

I don't want to try to make Shiny to tell the truth. I want the idea never to cross my mind
I do not like the flaw/feat trade. It is a big tool use by munchkins to optimize in my opinion.
If you want a flaw, role play it. Adjust your stats and play it. Don't do it just to get a feat.
Makes it final, no flaws. I don't mind if the characters take one, puts the feat progression more in line with Pthfinder. I've always hated how lean on feats you get when trying to take some PrCs, even lower powered ones you would take if it wasnt for the horrible feat tax. But, I also hate how some people take certain feats and stack certain abilities which can get pretty crazy.
