Arcane trickster also only gets d4 hit dice. But I do think that trapsmith is a much better choice, character-wise, for Natalia.
Ok, Trapsmith isn't a problem. Though, it's tough as we arent dungeon crawling much. Mill struggle to include enough traps for much of the game to keep her occupied.
Miriam is very uncomfortable with the treachery at the moment. If this becomes an habit, she will have major issue. Executing someone who think is your friend is murder in her eyes. She knows the orc is an enemy but she has issues how it was dispatched.

Natalia isn't comfortable with it either. She really would have preferred sending him on a wild goose chase.

Miriam would have probably liked to give him a chance to surrender. They could have gagged him and tied him. But she did nothing to stop Kurt. She feels she has blood on her hand.
To make it clear, Miriam considers all present to have contribute to it. She does not single Shiny or Kurt. Valen and Natalia and herself are as guilty as Kurt and Shiny in her own eyes.
And Natalia would also say that if Shiny wants to kill a charmed prisoner then he can do the damned job himself. She's more the personal responsibility type (one of the hallmarks of being Chaotic Good too, right?) though she does blame herself for not speaking up more.
Honestly, I have some good roleplaying ideas for the first time someone casts Eagle's Splendor on her.
Kurt didn't like it but...ultimately, he sees them as the enemy - it's no different to killing a sleeping enemy, not something he likes doing, but something he'll do.
Also, I just noticed the dragon is doing it's 'lounging' act again in panel 6.

Double Edit: To further clarify - Kurt would prefer to take a prisoner, but realistically, given the alarm was sounded that wasn't an option. It was kill him or let him go free.

For the record: I don't think gagging and tying him would have worked, given that we were outside a cave entrance, and we didn't have time to drag him around.
