Caves are still a no for Mithril. I actually know what she is feeling like at the moment because during that day (when she was attacked by the choker) I was goofing around with a friend and wrestling and he was trying to do a chokehold and strangled me. It was only for a few seconds but I still cant stand having things around my neck. Trauma lasts, even if it seems like the person brushed it off.
I assume that it does. I think in English and I speak English as my first language, but when I asked a friend who grew up in Germany she said that she usually thinks in German and is just now starting to think in a German/English mix.
Beyond that, these are creatures who don't even speak Common. The only reason the spell would be able to penetrate it is if it did the translation itself. However, my recollection is that DnD's telepathy doesn't require both creatures to share the same language.
ZMan, do you have a ruling? (If you don't want to share it, I guess we could just detect thoughts on an orc and find out).

I haven't done much with telepathy so that is why I assumed.

You know, there is such a thing as too much roleplay.
And Cavelcade, I think there's orcs coming out of both caves. If we take the higher ones then we take on those and can keep an eye on those coming up from below.
At least mid optimization wizards aren't that bad, it's what CAN be done when wizards are abused which is scary. I don't worry about Athedia breaking the game.

Yeah, mid-optimized wizards are fine, especially if you give martial characters a bit more optimization to give them a boost.
Heh, To optimize I would need to have the attention span to do so. Lets just say I would not be a wizard in real...ohh shiny....
EDIT: Also Mithril is unaware of what happened in the caves. She doesn't know that the orc was charmed and killed while bound. What she assumes is that the group was moving slowly and killed the scouts emerging from that tunnel when they heard the horn and came to try to help.
Wait until we're all gathered with bows pointing at the enemy and then shoot, then take out his axe and charge. He's going to wait, though, if people aren't ready with bows when they get there he's going to do it with those who are. Just in case I don't get a chance to post.

They're all barbarians; we'll have to slow them down so they can't catch up. Hooray for caltrops! I think Natalia should scatter some and Mithril should throw the alchemist fire and acid flasks once they get closer. We've got 6 alchemist fires and 5 acid flasks.
