I think that if Henry's returning to Linwood and we're not, he should stick with us until the cave. That would give us a chance to think more about what's going on, put all our heads together. What do you all say?

That if you want him to stay, you'd better speak up now! I think it's fine for him to go off on his own, he can try and get there no matter what, as they should be told about what happened as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, we can take a little longer.

Honestly since we don't know whether the orcs/ogres with connect us with linwood or not the best course of action is to let someone who is skilled at navigating the area warn the town. that is what he was sent out here to do anyway.

That was the only thing I was going to give him permanently, and that helped solidify him as our ally. That's worth more than 2350 gp over the long term, and Natalia thinks so too. Yeah, we should keep these to sell for later.

What if something happens in Linwood while we're gone? That's my biggest worry; we were hired to protect Linwood and we can't leave Henry to do it by himself.

I just decided to check out what all the compendium has, just reading through the index in the beginning. Quite a comprehensive list. It even includes weasels and celestial creatures so people could (in a pinch) figure out Whiskers.

They have soldiers there, and by attacking them as they march they will be delayed and suffer losses. We will do more good by sticking close to the orcs than by running straight back.
