Too bad Falcon still has what, 14 attacks to go before he can make use of the Killing Edge?
I really want to get him in as many fights as he can survive; the sooner he reaches Sword C Rank, the sooner he can start using that Killing Edge and becoming truly dangerous.
(Incidentally, I never understood why the Wo Dao/Shamshir is typically a late-game weapon. It's a freaking D Rank.)
Do we know what Lloyd is going?
Hugo going assassin doesn't strike me as a bad plan.
Two assassins in the same party, though. Things would either be awesome for both or crappy for one.
I had questioned what assassins got in this game in the previous thread. I might use the FE13 version which got bows in addition to lethality. Currently Llyod's promotion is going to hinge on what his stats look like prior to promotion. I'd like him to go assassin, but that may not be the better choice in the long run. Also like Sairyu said earlier, we're getting another thief and the party is splitting so they won't clash roles too much. Though why worry about Lloyd's promotion now, he's hardly gaining exp for it to be a semi-future concern.
That's true. We really need a map wherin Lloyd gets some love. A Stealth map is fairly appropriate for the early game, and most FE's I've played have 2 or 3 within the first 12 maps.

Wait what, we're splitting the party at some point? Won't we need another Lord character for that?
For myself, I figure it'll be interesting if we make Lloyd the Rogue, and make Reyn the second Assassin. Give the latter a Killer Lance, and he brings something new to the table; a Lance Silencer.
Sairyu has said something about another Lord already in the works. They fly. Nothing else is known about them, including who is playing it, what gender, what class.
Edit: Thinking back on it, as much as it would gimp some of the party, having 4 assassins would be pretty sweet from a story point of view.
We'd get people asking if we were the assassin's guild.
Further edit: Sticking Roland on one of the Center East-Facing Ballistas would be awesome, too. Milk that x4 WXP, then do it again when we go south.
Given 6 turns to take the East, and 4 to take South, that's 40 WXP. Roland could hit A rank as soon as next map.
Not that it REALLY matters, but dang it's good to get out of the way.
We're splitting the party? I must've missed that...
Edit: No, I saw about the second lord. I didn't figure the party was splitting, though.
@Acanous- I haven't played Radiant Dawn. Funny thing is, in the GBA ones, there are actually times where you'll want two people picking locks. (At least in Sacred Stones, there's that one map where you have a limited number of turns and multiple places to loot)

@Acanous
Stealth map in... 2 or 3... maybe 4 maps? Depends on what the group winds up doing, but it's on the table.
Map 5 will likely be the 'interior of Lord Calem's manor'. I'm probably also going to have to look at some floor plans while I draw it up.
As for the split, it's going to be more of a "there are two lords and you can choose to split the party up to cover multiple geographical locations" thing than "two lords split the party up NOW". The 'split' as it is, will occur as soon as you're able to be in 'not Eben' any longer.
For larger-scale maps, you'd obviously want to band together, but if, for example, you're collecting McGuffins and it's a race-against-others, you may want to split.
Edit: The split is a large reason as to why I drew up that Eben-area hex map.
@Nohbdy
I could go for that (bows + silencer).
@Ascaloth
It's lategame because it's better. Same thing goes for Xslayers vs Xreavers.
@Penguinator
I always liked Legault better... and not only because he comes with the Hard mode bonus. >_<
Hey guys, posting this in advance in case I forget to later today (and in case anyone forgot):
I'm away for the weekend but should be back Sunday night in time for the update. I will not have internet access and will thus be absent from this (and all other) threads.
Whether I go Dances or staves depends on how many healers we have in Nina's group.
Either way, if Paris isn't with Nina, she'll probably go axe crazy.

That's comforting.

See, I haven't even finished it once.

Well, Roland will go with Grassy's plan. Wham didn't even mention him D:
:p

Having Roland do some shopping his a good idea. I don't remember what's for sale in the shops, but at the very least we might want to stock up on vulneraries or something, depending on whether we still want to take the East before going South to end the map.
How Roland behaves in my plan was dependent on whether we decided to take the East before finishing the map and what the shops have. Given that it seems we are going East, I'd say that Roland should stock up on vulneraries unless the Armory has things that we really want, like Javelins or Hand Axes.
Also, I'll be away from tomorrow morning until Monday evening, so after tonight I won't be responding to this thread for a few days.
Anyways, do I go through some sort of IC procedure from being incapped to being mobile?
Nope, you're up now. Or at least you should be.
When we get that other Lord, I'm pretty sure Roland's going to end up on "Team B" most of the time. He seems to fill the role of the Lancer.
Question is who's going to end up with him :p
You stated that you thought it was out of character for Paris to join us at first.
How would we have gotten Paris to join us, completely in character.
Oh. Probably brute force. It makes a bit more sense that she would follow people that had knocked her out, rather than randomly joining a group of Osulians, against a direct order from her cult. As a Lawful character.
I'm writing some backstory (which will probably come up through support conversations) that makes her joining the party somewhat more plausible.
