We need to retrieve Hugo. I'd suggest Paris retrieve him, then Rescue Wotan and move to C-E14. I also want Falcon as far South as possible so he's near enough to engage the Fighters, so Falcon should then go to C-E15, and Take and Drop Wotan at C-F15.
Can Paris survive two successive ballistae hits? If not, I may have her go to a house tile instead.
Does the CT tile provide any dodge bonuses, again? Remind me.
That works (Give Callum the kill though he's a lower level.)
Because horrible typos. Oren should be at 16 too. I'll fix that now. Any issues with the center plan itself?
Not really. The only other option that I can see would be something like the following.
Paris moves to CG6, attacks Merc13 and cantos to CJ5.
If Paris hits, Wotan moves to CK7. If she misses, he moves to CI6 to block Merc13 from reaching her.
Argoth moves to CD16.
Oren moves to CD15.
Adele moves to CD14.
Madeline moves to NO13.
Falcon moves to CA13.
Roland moves to NO15.
The idea here would be to stay out of the range of Balista17 and use the extra protection from the wall to hold the command tent while we bring the rest of our force back to the center, while taking care of Balista5 and the enemies nearest to it with Paris and Wotan. It might be a little safer, but it runs the risk of letting the Cavaliers run past the wall freely, which might be a problem with smart enemies.
And I'll automatically have you guys 'rescue' if you end or start a Player Phase on a downed ally. Passing over will also do the trick, for mounted units. I might be a little hard on you guys, but I'm not that petty (I think).
@GrassyGnoll
Yeah. I bet it's pretty hard to dodge swords with a horse on your back.
@Acanous
Injury; also why it took him an extra turn to get back on his feet.
It [fatigue I] is an across-the-board 10% penalty to his combat stats (truncated). I'd also have stuck it on the party if you'd gone into this map without resting beforehand.
Well, the consensus seems to be that Paris should go C-J15, and I can't say I disagree with that.
EDIT: Almost forgot about this. Amend Roland's move to have him Loot the Shop before moving to N-O15.
Roland is kind of away from the shop at the moment. It'd take most of his move to go back, and then another turn to get back to where he is now, and a THIRD turn to get to N-O15.
He can go back to the shop after he trades someone that Steel lance. Maybe after softening up that cavalry formation.
Good news everyone! My latest draft is less overtly suicidal. The C18 gimmick was a horrorshow, as was the J5 canto. A minimal [Argoth to D17] should be the only stall we need before Linia and Roland can break the line.

It'll be the same as the armory, though if you stay for multiple turns (more than one), you'll find better stuff (probably).
@Ascaloth
I haven't actually used Joshua at all. I just took his Killing Edge and he's kinda in stasis. I'm doing an iron man on veteran setting and the RNG seems determined to never ever miss, so I've eschewed bringing him along. Maybe if enough people die... lol.
Edit: Casualty list as of Map 10
Vanessa & Moulder (because he creeps me right out)
@Illven
Of course I do, and tough love is the best kind of love.
