Okay, that one's either the Monarch Butterfly someone mentioned, of the Painted Lady that looks similar to it. Or a different sort, but that's what I remember from second grade.
Spoiler
I'm fairly certain you're correct, it's a Monarch Butterfly.

Man, this is tough. I hardly know anything about butterflies and I'm out of Monarch mimics. I'm going to cheat now because I'm curious but I won't post it if I figure it out.
That is indeed the Viceroy. The main difference: black horizontal stripe on the rear set of wings, which the monarch doesn't have. Oh, also the Viceroy isn't poisonous, unlike the Monarch. EDIT: Well, maybe it IS poisonous… who'da thunk?

Yup, amazingly Google Images could tell that at a glance.
Although Wikipedia tells me (and cites a source on it) that the Viceroy is actually poisonous, so it's an example of Müllerian mimicry rather than Batesian. (I learned things today, never knew that mimicry like that had a name.)
On the topic of defensive mimicry, what's this? Critter #16(?)

Huh… didn't realize that. Well, now I know.
Answer 16
Spoiler
Red touch black, friend of Jack. That would be one of the species that mimics the Coral snake. If I had to guess, I'd say either King snake or a Milk snake of some variety or another.

Yup.
Spoiler
At least I'm pretty sure it's a Milk snake, because that's what I was looking for. King snakes are usually black-and-white, but the ones that do mimic Coral snakes are often hard to tell apart from Milk snakes.
Not really. You can see the main difference quite clearly in the above pic. It's the horizontal band on the rear wing. For a comparison, see below:
Spoiler
Amusingly, the first Google Images result for "Monarch Butterfly", at least when I search it, is a Viceroy, thanks to Wikipedia's comparison of the two in the Monarch Butterfly article.
Tough one, because it has a lot of different names, kinda like the brontosaurus/apatosaurus/diplodocus mix-up of prehistoric mammals. Indricothere, Indricotherium or Paraceratherium. Take your pick.

I'm pretty sure any name that ends with ~saurus means lizard, not mammal. :)

Oh man that's a...a...butts. I saw one just a couple of months ago at the Boston Aquarium. It's a seahorse of some sort with "dragon" in the name, right? Sea dragon?

That's part of the name, yes. And yes, it is a relative of the Sea Horse.

The random background generator is awesome. I got a NG dwarven magus who was involved in a "pleasure" scandal with some arcane experiment backfire as well. My imagination is running off with that.
I know it's some kind of crab spider, but no idea which one.

Ah well. But you'll have to admit that it was an easy mistake, looking at these.
Spoiler
White and Yellow Crab Spider
Edit: I looked it up now, apparently they are colloquially called crab spiders, even though that's the wrong term for them. So I got caught
