I seem to have started up another round of this game on facebook. An Australian friend posted a baby echidna, thinking it was a baby platypus. Seems like we know each other's countries better than we know our own, as he informed me that at least his country didn't invent deep-fried sticks of butter, something I'd never heard of before.
My first guess was a shrew as well. Is it that new type of rat that was discovered a while ago, the one with no teeth?

I'm wanting to say it almost looks like a possum, possibly juvenile? EDIT: OK, now that I know that it's in the same order as the Shrew… I have no idea.
