That's a vole, right? I could be wrong, but that was my first instinct. They're also from the insectivore group, like shrews, I think.
Voles are of the order Rodentia. Insectivora doesn't exist anymore; it's been split up or folded into other groupings, and what's left of it is called Eulipotyphla, which does still include shrews and three other still-living families, including the one this critter is from.
Voles look a lot like mice, but a bit rounder:

I... knew some of that, actually. I feel very, very silly.
I actually meant *answer* when I said vole. I somehow confused the two, and I feel a little awkward now, haha.
I'ma bow out of that particular animal-guessing, but I do know what it is now.
Spoiler
Seriously, I looked up Insectivora on Wikipedia (out of curiosity, not because I didn't trust Noparlpf), so it doesn't count.
Spoiler
It's a solenodon; a super-"primitive" shrew-like animal.
Right, but let's leave it in case anybody else figures it out.
Spoiler
Weird brain-fart sort of moment, huh? I do those. Like on the facebook version of this I have going, someone posted a mandrill and I said baboon for some reason before correcting myself. And I totally read up on both and their differences just a few months ago.
Also, when I first learned about this critter, I totally expected it to look like a coil. Blame Physics.
Ha, yeah pretty much that same thing. I haven't looked up shrews/solenodons in a while, but I've always been fond of them. I love "ugly" animals, and oddballs. Looking like they do is definitely enough for the first, and being venomous mammals is enough for the second. Did you know that one species of solenodon has a ball-and-socket joint in its face? That's awesome beyond words.
Anyhoo, I'm having fun. I look forward to further participating in this thread.

Is that a flying dragon/Draco lizard? I've heard both names in reference to the last picture, but I'm not sure which is correct (if either). I think Draco is also the genus name, but I'm nowhere near certain about that.

Spoiler
Yeah, they're three species of the genus Draco, also called flying dragons. They're agamids (lots of lizards are I guess). They're neat.
Edit: And I don't really expect anybody to get which three specific species they are, because that's hard. Two of them don't even have Wikipedia pages.
I think it's some kind of lizard, and not a snake. The head shape, eyes, and tail look wrong for a snake, to me. I couldn't say exactly what kind of lizard it is, though. I know it's not an amphisbaenid, and I don't think it's one of the gecko or skink relatives (I don't remember their names, though), either.
Sorry!
I'ma see if I can't maybe find a picture for you guys to guess.

You are correct in that it is a lizard and not a snake, and it is not in the amphisbaenid, gecko, or skink families (or suborders, for that matter), but you're on the right track. You'll just need to narrow it down a bit more.
Also, I'd love to have a few more critters to guess at.

EDIT: Oh, and it looks like Critter 30 still hasn't had any guesses. Poor critter 30…
I recognize it, but I can't remember the poor guy's name for the life of me. What I can tell you is...
Guess 30
Spoiler
It's an extremely ancient shark, from back when most of them had bizarre spikes and horny-bits and crests. Probably not enough to count as a correct guess, but I think it's sometimes called a whorl-toothed shark.
Guess 34
Spoiler
I think that's a box jellyfish of some kind (because of the tendril array and "musculature," if it can be called that), but they all sort of look alike to me.

You are right. It is a box jellyfish of some kind. But can you guess which one?

...maybe the irukanji (not sure on spelling)? I saw it on the National Geographic channel 2-3 years ago, and it looked like that. I think it has some relatives that are pretty much the same thing, but bigger, though.

Correct!
Spoiler
Irukandji is the accepted spelling.

Correct!

Whorl-toothed shark is indeed one of the more popular names for that species.

It looks like a push-me-pull-you or whatever from that kids' book Dr. Doolittle.
I assume that's just the angle of the picture making it look like they're one two-headed thing though.

Concerning Critter thirty-five:
Spoiler
Unlikely, as the Pushmi-Pullyu was from Africa, a region not known for its snow.
It is likely some form of mountain goat...

And it wouldn't look quite like that, I imagine. It's supposed to look like a cross between a gazelle and a unicorn. That was just my gut reaction to the angle of the picture framing the two animals that way.

Haha! I didn't even notice that. It's not photoshop, though; that's a real picture of a real animal (or rather, two animals).

It does appear to be a goat of some variety, judging by the coat and horns. Most likely a mountain goat of some sort, However, I am not well versed in the different types of mountain goat… and my curiosity has gotten the better of me. I just may browse through the types of goats, but won't post anything that I find (don't want to cheat now)…
Anyway, here's another from my collection on photos. Critter 36:
Spoiler
Also, it seems that Silkspinner hasn't updated the OP in a while. Do you think he may have lost track of it during it's move to this sub-forum?

Pandion Pandion, or an osprey. They are a pescavore of the order Falconiformes and are the only member of their genus.
