Magnus Occulus
Magnus Occulus is defined as 4 main entities, The βέλος, The δόρυ με πελέκι, The δαχτυλίδι, and The ξίφος.
The βέλος
Sharp and fast, the left hand (the left side of the picture) of Magnus. It is he who strikes first, attacks first, damages first. The power of fire, ferociously, strength, using The βέλος is to utilize sheer offensive magic - anything from lightning bolts to great balls of flame, The βέλος is a force to be reckoned with.
"Strike fast, strike true, for none shall pierce as I do."
The δόρυ με πελέκι
The halbard, swift and fast but steady, is the right hand of Magnus. But unlike The βέλος, The δόρυ με πελέκι is defensive, meant to protect the wielder while The βέλος goes on a rampage. Spells that strengthen the body and soul are derived from here. Long-time followers of Magnus Occulus (one person) often uses the cleansing techniques of this area to sooth and heal the body and soul.
"Swing the halberd, follow up with the arrow. My speed offers a defence none can match."
The δαχτυλίδι
The Ring of Magnus is often known as his eye, for from within the circular boundaries, one can spy many a great thing within, whether it be from the future or the past. Linked to the brain, The δαχτυλίδι sees all. Within its depths lie the power of clairvoyance, scrying, divination and dowsing, though it is pupported that it is possible to achieve psychic abilities as well, such as transvection or pyrokinesis, though this has not been observed yet.
"As the ring spins, so shall the halberd and the arrow, for I guide them in the vortex that is the past, present and future."
The ξίφος
The sword is the spine of Magnus, and it connects everything else together, keeping the blade and arrow orbiting around the ring aligned. Mysterious but powerful, its effects seem to be a combination of all the rest, and though stronger, it is harder to predict what is going to happen.
"You cannot understand the mystery that is Magnus. A god, but yet not a god, alive but dead, Magnus cannot be sought or controlled by mortal men. I am his spine, but yet, I am his blade, and all shall bow before his might and glory."
There are four areas of ritual magic that can be tapped into, which are offensive, defensive, psychic and random. To utilize any of them, a number of sacrifices must be put forth, and the strength and power of its effects depends on the quality and quantity of the sacrifice used. Even then, the spell cast is seemingly random - you may sacrifice to The βέλος, but you cannot determine what spell will come out. It may be a fireball. It may be a lightning bolt. It may even be a hurricane that accidentally destroys your house. Its effects are unpredicatable and uncontrollable. The ξίφος is a bit special, as sacrificing to him may result in an effect from any of the other three areas, but the effect is noticibly stronger.

You are LAOBHÁN Ó HALLMHURÁN. Yes, most people do find your name rather unusual. Must have something to do with being a SÍDHE. Or not, but sometimes you would like to think you are. For a start, it would distance you from these thick-headed apes. Really, do they do ANYTHING but fight amongst themselves? And THEY'RE the ones in charge of the universe? Sickening. And another thing; it's honestly disgusting how easy you find it to SWINDLE THEM. You seem to be able to convince anyone of anything; hell, the only reason you got Alt-Earth in the first place is by tricking some poor sap out of his. Which you NEVER FELT BAD ABOUT. And of course, underpinning tricking someone is KNOWING ABOUT THEM, which you also seem to excel at. Or just processing information in general, but psychology does factor into it.
Some people might describe you as GREEDY AND AMBITIOUS, but that's utter BS to you. You have the skills to attain power and wealth, so surely you were meant to use them? Besides, you being in a position of power keeps some idiot monkey out of it. Some would point out your young age as an obstacle, but really, it's only a matter of time before that leaves the equation entirely. Assuming it's even an obstacle in the first place. You also have quite an interest in history and myth, especially Celtic myth, as one might expect. Though not your forte, circumstances do often force you to defend yourself with... er... force... in which case you make use of a NEEDLEKIND SPECIBUS. Silent. Elegant. Discreet. It's more or less as close to your normal MO as combat gets. You also rely more on AGILITY rather than toughness or sheer strength-maximum output for minimum input and so on.

Not just ninjas, much as you love those shadowy rogues, but all manner of MARTIAL EXPERTS. Shaolin MONKS, kung-fu MASTERS, anything with that combination of ancient mysticism and lethal cunning. You started practicing martial arts yourself a few years ago in an attempt to get cooler, an attempt which FAILED MISERABLY, but at least it's decent exercise to punctuate the EXCESSIVE amount of time you spend on the INTERNET.
Not that you can really blame yourself there. You're a rather UNPOPULAR fellow around town for a variety of reasons, particularly your STRAPPING FRAME and MEEK DEMEANOR. It probably doesn't help that profanity makes you UNCOMFORTABLE.
Still, there are upsides. You're active in several GAME MODDING WEBSITES, where you've achieved a certain degree of INTERNET NOTORIETY for your bizarre and occasionally elegant projects. It's amazing, but people actually seem to like you there.

Any sort of introduction of your character is fine. Feel free to go ahead and start doing things, too. I'll let you know if you have the game yet when you look in your mailbox, or at any other time when you could (hypothetically) get a copy.
Two other things: In keeping with the Homestuck theme, please use the second person for IC posts.
Also, I've seen Homestuck games that make you keep your posts in spoilers until other players can see what you're doing. I think that's silly and you should be able to RP without using OoCn knowledge. Also, if something really needs to be private, that's what private messages are for... *menacing GM laughter*
If two people want to work it out off-site, they can, or they can just start writing in the IC thread and keep the dialogue going there.
Basically do whatever works.
Oh, should we decide who directly knows who (and how)? Sean could easily be internet-friends with anybody, he's active on plenty of gaming communities and much more sociable on the internet than in person. I'll try to stay on Pesterchum (grandioseGrasshopper) if anybody wants to get in touch.
