Yeah, the English version is a godawful piece of lyricism too. I think the music and singing itself is quite good, though, and since I don't speak Polish, I think it's much better in Polish.
You know, it might be issue that I don't understand English that well to see lyrics are as bad, but... The feel is slightly different. Fluttershy is a bit more confident, makes a few quips against RD, RD on the other hand is a bit more self centred and less... annoying? It still fits, it's just different.

Rarity would be like a Nazgul or something; her true form hidden from the eyes of lesser mortals until the moment of their doom or something, and only the superior Undead would be able to see her full glory. And then spend lots of time improving and changing her armour to be more and more awesome (and fashionable).
Rarity's too awesome not be the Witch-Queen of Angmar Ponyvile.
(Plus the whole corrupted-by-jewellery just seems very Rarity...)
This of course assumes you don't simply go the most obvious route and make them all Spirit-Bound Liches, which would be easy for Twilight to do. (Okay, it might take her some effort to do it to herself, but it's Twilight. She could totally manage it.) Because then they be Best Undead and well as Best Ponies.

You've sold me on it.
(It is broadly possible this has something to do with the fact that I picked up the Lego LOTR game earlier this week.)

The...obvious route. Right. Heh.
Also, that's right. Rarity would be much more appropriate as a usualy invisible, rag-covered and haggared looking, dessicated wraith than some vain, decadent vampire with their melodramatic ways and inherant romantic themes.

Okay, ponythread. I have need of sets of eyes to go through my not-so-latest work(s) of fanfiction.
It was originally for a fiction project that got scrapped recently. If you have been wondering why I have been so unproductive... well here's the reason. Since there is no longer any need for secrecy, I might as well finish up the entries as my own stories. Without further ado.
Okay, Pony as Vampire Clans from Vampire: The Masquerade (Better than Twilight). (See the major clans).
Pinkie Pie- Malklavian
Rarity- Toreador
Twilight- ?
Fluttershy- ?
Rainbowdash-?
Applejack- ?

I love how the gears actually work to do something here. Now THAT is art.
And there's one for Fluttershy too! Neat!
Speaking of reading, I read a ton of pages worth in Skyrim modding to get voices added to my Applejack NPC. After two nights of poking various programs with a sharp stick (which incidently, doesn't do much other than annoy the computer) I finally got somewhere.
It's Alive!!

Once I have a few more lines done I need to record a video of it. Do sites like Livestream and Join.Me do recordings?

I don't disagree just I think he can be officially considered one. Also I think there was more then a little implied bullying from what he was teaching.
However your reasons are why I wouldn't mind seeing him again.
That and he's Large Beef.
That picture is pretty inclusive. I suppose there was some implied bullying, I mean it was basically an eye for an eye is what he was teaching. Which generally isn't a good thing to learn.

Alright somebody posted a link to a pony game and I can't find that post. Can somebody help me?
You'll need to be more specific.
The Pony Castlevania demo can be found in the description of this YouTube video.
The Gameloft My Little Pony game is out on iOS devices in America, Germany, and Australia. Just search "My Little Pony" on the app store and look for one by Gameloft. I think it's the third or fourth one in the search results.
Luna's pumpkin launcher, which Deadly and I posted about around Halloween can be found here.
And if you're just itching for pony games in general, check out Futzi01's gallery. His stuff is really good.

No, sorry. Of the three I mentioned, I only have one saved. (It was one about Celestia reminising after the mane six had passed away.)

My internal pessimist is saying that a Gilda episode would just be a generic redemption story that would trample over the entire lesson in Griffon the Brush Off. Then again, if we could get Gilda showing up again in another context, it would be interesting to see her character again. Someone mentioned the idea of a Griffon Kingdom movie?
Flim & Flam, though, I'm not sure what they would accomplish beyond a background character cameo.

The person that NickNack left in charge of his account informed me that the Heart of Gold, Feathers of steel fic is available, but at a different link than that which Equestria Daily leads to.
Thank you for this! I'll have to save it up before it disappears again. >_>

And I have no clue how many books I have. I mean, I have like 3 bookcases full of them, and half a dozen boxes, and I still have books lying around and doubled up on the shelves. I wish I could stop moving so that I could go through and organize them all.

Grim is gritty. Noir is usually grim, because things don't get better without effort. Fallout is grim, because life sucks and people's re content to be better than the next guy, but you can fix it. It's uphill, but the struggle matters.
Grimdark is both, plus more than the sum of its parts. It is dark for the sake of being dark. Grim without redemption. In Grimdark the struggle actually doesn't matter, not narratively. It is cruelty for amusement. Any redemption or salvation on ye part of the characters runs counter to the setting, and is usually squashed when an author realizes it is there.
Well I just finished the first Ulrika the Vampire Warhammer book (Bloodborn) so this has been on my mind for the last day or so.
Wouldn't grimdark mostly be just horror? I mean, it is a setting where everything is bad and everything that happens just makes things worse, where there are no good endings, and where the only ones getting out of it are the ignorant and the monsters. The biggest difference I've seen between the two are the protagonists - grimdark tends to have heroic characters fail while horror uses mundane ones - but that seems to make it more of a heroic horror genre.
Of course, I realize that grimdark has changed a bit from it's "original" meaning. It originally was used to describe W40k in an overly dramatic manner, as both GRIM and DARK and thus GRIMDARK. W40k is grim and it is dark, but it does throw a lot of humor in the form of parody around. Calling W40k horror might be as accurate as calling Diskworld heroic fantasy - technically correct but it kind of ignores the whole self-parody aspect of it.
Then again, most of the stories I've read that could be described as "grimdark" involve a single Space Wolf omnibus and various Warhammer vampire books. Perhaps my image of the term is just slanted towards the horror genre.
(Not meant to single out SiuiS, just making conversation. Everyone, feel free to respond with your own thoughts as well.)
That's a good point. I feel that Grimdark, as a term or a genre, feels more right with the assumption that it's at least a little deliberately absurd. It's a real part of 40k's charm, after all.
And I have no clue how many books I have. I mean, I have like 3 bookcases full of them, and half a dozen boxes, and I still have books lying around and doubled up on the shelves. I wish I could stop moving so that I could go through and organize them all.
I have 3 bookcases too (15 shelves and a bit, to be exact). All my books are neatly on shelves, I would never keep them in boxes for long unless I ran totally out of space ... which I have mostly been for a while, but I keep making room somehow. Many of my books are quite big, and expensive (being textbooks) however, so if you have 3 bookcases of fairly small books, that's easily more than 400, I'd guess, plus whatever you have in boxes.

To those fearing a generic redemption story for either of our one-shot villains thus far, I think we have little to worry on that regard. The show writers certainly knew how to change things around and surprise us with genuine twists from time to time.
I bet you ten bits Gilda hadn't changed for quite a bit since her last visit to Ponyville. Or if she had, she only mellowed a little.

You know, given the number of bronies in the military, I have to wonder if there are any Abrams tank crews that have nicknamed their vehicle "the party cannon".
