After the matches are over the Princess takes the um...amplify sound spell, and makes a speech, eventually given the rosewood crown as a symbol that she is now the heir.
The arena starts to empty, and the Princess sits back down again with Leila back at her side.
"That was a wonderful match to watch. I see now why you were picked to be the princess's guard. What better defender than the warrior who can simply stand in an asssassin's way until their own attacks wear them out?"

Teru - "I am debating about building there, but I can't have Mouri or Shimazu build there, it needs to be a new noble house. I was testing him. How did you feel about fighting him?"
Leila - "My armor is all dented, he clearly knows what he's doing, and the shattering of the sword was genius."

"This is going to be a long fight. Leila is able to take a ton of damage, and she's slow to injure her opponents. It's what makes her such a good bodyguard, she can block off a doorway and no one can break through her...except for Aisha obviously."
After watching the fight John notes the dissappointment in the crowd and turns to Mana
Hmm... He shouldnt have left. He was always going to lose but the goal was to put on a good show. It wouldn't do to have the Royal Body guard lose either. It makes the princess look vulnerable at such an important date. What did you think Mana?

"That was too one sided. The Iron wall technique doesn't even need you to hit them. The fact she put him against such a powerful opponent means she has an alternative motive....the fact it was her bodyguard even more so. Also note there just HAPPENED to be someone there ready to take over."

I think I have a better idea. The princess has dropped a plot anchor with a lampshade on each end on me. I'm trying to round up the whole gang and take them back to my home so we can discuss strategy and the plot.
Then he spots Zach.
He runs over and whispers to him. "Hey, Z, the princess wanted to test you for something. I've been instructed to round up a group of adventurers for a secret quest. Once I've collected eveyone we can go to my home and discuss our group, the plot hooks, and other relevant things."

Katie shows up again and says a small "Hi" before helping to pack.

"No we can handle it." Says Kris. "She might not look it, but Katie can lift a fair amount, and of course I'll be helping too. AH! Kiku!" Another maid runs up and starts to help him pack.
Kiku - "So sorry I'm late. We had some last minute customers!" The maid is a tall one, with what looks like purple hair, you think she might be some sort of crossbreed or shapeshifter. Her eyes have the look of a warrior however, and given what you know of Mori "Ninja Maids" are not outside of the possibility in this setting. She quickly starts helping to pack up with the grace and speed of a seasoned veteran.
