No problems. I should be good as far as time goes for the next few weeks. Just have to pace myself properly. Sorry if I messed with the whole initiative thing.

Plus, it would have not been to unusual if you danced in character earlier. The moment is lost though. EDIT: ah, confused you with Noble Pigeon. Sorry. I am running off of maybe a half night's sleep for the past dozen hours or so. EDIT2: wait, I guess you could dance to the music...still the moment is gone.

I picked sienna, but I had only since it was easy to read. And you never know when someone has their hearts set on one of the colors people would actually recognize from the typical crayon box, heh. So tell me if you have problems telling my dialogue from the rest of my posts.

I picked purple, to match Desaix's beautiful, piercing, majestic eyes. Those fields of purple roses, so hypnotizing...

we're done here :I

In all seriousness, I often play brash, hot-headed characters (including a Lawful Good cleric who barely acts Lawful Good), so it's kind of refreshing (and a bit of a challenge) for me to run what's basically the Pathfinder equivalent of Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club. Hopefully I don't play him as too much of an eccentric narcissist

But eccentric characters are the best! I mean, where would the game be without setting a few hours randomly on f- oh, you did not mean pyromaniac kinda eccentric did you?

Anyway, i am going to post tomorrow morning, I got a little fine tuning to do on how to kinda say "HERE, RECRUITS, DO THIS" without making it seem to much like i am railroading you guys and gonna make some little "plan b's" you guys can follow and still get the trial done. Also sleep, does wonders. /snore

I decided to go with simply red. Silviu's not evil or fire-based, but he is hotheaded and likes colorful clothes. And as mentioned earlier, lemme know if his accent grows jarring ;)

Well, its up to you guys as a group to decide where you wish to go first. Perhaps put it to a vote? The drugs are wide spread, and people from all districts have been using, from the academe, the poor district, south, high rise, etc. Only real difference is the quality of the establishments you might find them in.

I wonder if we could talk one of those leaders to give us the Drug? Not with a large dose of the chemical, just a bottle with a convincing little trace of it - in case we need a nice little assistance with a lie in the future... *scratches chin*

To make it clear, I'm still active and interested - I just won't be posting an IC post at the moment due to being busy and tired enough that trying to pull together for an IC post right now wouldn't be very smart. I should come up with one within a few hours though. Sorry about the unlucky timing.

Ah, yeah, I do stick out, don't I? Well besides the fact that I lack the skill ranks and kit to make a good enough disguise check to hide my race, I personally think a tiefling might not be as much of a problem. I mean, while I do not have it, there is a trait for tieflings that makes it more likely for people belief you are a lackey. Essentially, they are not likely to be a chief suspect when it comes to people working with the government.

Should we do the vote here or in character?

Well, anyway, I might as well say: I think that Midland, the merchant district might be best. If we look in the schools or higher class areas, we will stand out as heavily armed people. If we go to the poor areas, we would draw attention by people people asking questions. In the commerce areas though, we will just be customers, or tourists as far as they know. Too large a crowd for many to notice us. I'll put this train of thought in character next opportunity. Or maybe turn that musing into dialogue? I was kind of following other people there. Well, from noble pigeon, I guess we will do a bit more character introduction first.

Edit: Ah, thinking about it, I guess we might just cycle through the initiative order since we are just talking among ourselves.

Sorry about the delay folks, i am still around, just very busy today, had to go to the docter this morning - I split/broke my pinky toe, so I have not been much in the mood to think up what to post next. The pain is a little better, and I will be posting tomorrow morning. If you have anything you would like to ask wayne any further then please add it to your posts if its not already there.

XD I can imagine my invisible relationship points. Trolol, probably goes out even. I'm good with either voting here or in character. Though I think discussing in character would probably allow the gm some downtime to recover.

Edit: Ooh! I have a question... Though it'll probably make me sound well... XD

Meh, don't worry, we are still getting a feel for each other, so we will probably end up talking about this for a while, especially since we are in character. Just the way Pbp goes, I guess. Heal up and be well. Remember, a happy GM is a lack of rocks falling on us. Heh.

Can I make a list of our options here? I want us not to have to search through all the options and suboptions in the posts (tell me if I missed anything):
1. Going to Old Korvasa and Looking for the local gangs
2. Looking for people at banks and other money lenders
3. Temples and other medical centers for people in rehab.
4. Looking at Old Dock for smugglers (would need us to get an alchemist to get ingredients, if any)
5. Looking in Midlands' commerce district
6. Try to go undercover
7. Look for nobles involved with it

Hm, I do like the idea of you guys getting to know each other more in game. Heres the guidelines as per your mission;

1: Your search must be limited to within krovosa's walls/territory.

2: You have up to a week to finish the mission. No results at all by this time means the mission is a failure.

3: You only have to find where the drug is being made, even one location will do for your mission, you do not need to directly involve yourself in cleaning it out, though kudos if you wish to.

4: During this mission you are free to perform any illegal activities within reason such as assault, theft, or break-ins, even murder if it gets the job done - but just because the guild allows it does NOT mean the local authorities do, and you still must be wary of the city watch. And you are not full members yet, the guild will not vouch for you if you get caught or pay bail.

I will post tomorrow morning an update in game. Talk amongst yourselves/decide where you wish to search first, second, and third.

With that last point, Jane, is it appropriate that I am having a Bond moment?

And a week sounds good. I guess we should go get lunch, list which options would be easiest to get through first, etc.

Whatever feels appropriate to you. lol. Also keep in mind you are just level 1 - while you have complete freedom within the city, many npcs such as guards have roughly static levels along with some of the more influential peoples body guards. You can easily find yourself biting off more then you can chew, especially if your caught with your pants down breaking into someones home, etc - there is a good 500 to 800 watchmen within krovosa, on/off duty in a single days time, not to mention the royal guard, private soldiers, militia, union workers, gangs, etc. You have to factor in the fact that while many districts are not guarded very well by the law, their is still entire areas ruled over by gangs, etc, that have there own set of rules and are fiercely territorial to other thieves, drug trade, prostitution, etc. You can easily find yourself fighting just about anything if you guys press the wrong button you could say.

(Though don't worry, I wont make any scenario that is outright rocks fall, you all die/go to jail forever in a single round or completely railroad your ultimate demise if you do bite off more then you can chew. I will give a few subtle hints your about to piss on a dragon and its a bad idea, you know? Its not like the guards are level 10 or some bs.)

I wonder...

1.) Can Craft (Alchemy) be used to find out the ingredients in Ileosa's Tears? Or barring that, find out if the concoction is mundane or magical in nature?

2.) How long would such an analysis take? Several hours? A day? A week?

You would need an actual lab to test it - but you could use heal, craft (alchemy), or knowledge (nature) or maybe even (arcana) to figure out what was used in making it. Anything involving the science of medicine, drugs, natural regents, etc etc.

Huh. Okay then Okay, guys, if we can catch us a sample I can have Silviu take a look at it. Craft (alchemy) +6. Plus I did get him a set of masterwork artisan's tools for the job, so that's a +2 on the check - if the GM approves? *makes with the big, dewy puppy eyes and the quivering lower lip*

You will still need a proper lab to study the sample in depth, but you have the skills to do so if you can find such a place. You could ask crex if the guild has a lab available you could burrow.

Well I did say the social initiative was just a suggestion/basic guideline, and you did not have to follow it exactly (after a issue with north_ranger being unable to post for like 2 days due to my own stupidity XD), just try not to post more then 3-4 times over anyone else.

Hello. This is me, loser0ll, obviously. I thought I should let you all know that I've been... kept busy and distracted lately, in a few ways. For the next short while, if I have not posted, feel free to NPC me or let my one of my Partners control things. For right now, to give a basic view on how things are viewed by my character, I will explain his basic viewpoints of this scenario...

Thanks to his current situation, basic share-the-name introductions will work. I was actually planning something that might have been a teensy bit more unusual, but if my name is needed, that's fine.

I'm not entirely sure about that... I'm afraid that it may have to pass as the Infernal One controlling him a bit at this point, which would only explain part of why he would stay so quiet - they don't share memories or knowledge openly, so the Infernal One would need to stay fairly quiet through most of this encounter, since it would want to learn as much as possible about the party without upsetting them from the very start. After all, this isn't a group of Commoners, or even cheap little Level 1 Warriors/Experts. It's those of us dipped in Awesome Sauce. ^_^
