I hope they plan on using locate object to find the gauntlet, as the better spell to do it requires them to have touched the object.
Also, I don't think Nerine's DC for blinding beauty is high enough

You ought to change your name to Tarith Doombringer. Seeing as the forest is vast, many miles long and wide and you do have many thousands of feet to cover, there could be a check made to get you as close as possible. Depending on the check, you could actually end up in the Grove. Of course, you could be healed, but those two will follow, which will result in the dryads being butchered.
Regarding components, a caster is assumed to have any item in certain number (and within reason) if it does not have a gp cost. rare items, like the hide of a displacer beast for the Displacement spell, would require a special quest.
A lead sheet, if the spell is within your list of spells, would be available.

So I was thinking, a Ultimate Magus could persist spells as easily as Dantie, it would cost 1 5th lvl sorcerer slot, and 1 use of augmented casting to do so. I have 5 5th lvl sorcerer slots, and 6 uses of augmented casting at lvl 12
At 15 one could target 5th lvl spells (I don't plan on getting it, I am however required to get 1 more meta magic feat at 14, any recommendations? Also Alan, would easy metamagic (Lower the spell slot for one metamagic feat by one level, Dragon #325) be considered?

If I am reading this right, Silent Image lets me make a image that takes up a 120ft cubed area, how many treants, or mounted Calvary could I manifest? Creating them to come around the side of the village, and charge at the giants, drawing attention away from the villagers, and with out the assassins around hopefully having a chance break a few of there moral?
