Seems like a nice guy, doesn't make much sense for him to be with the bad guys though.
I didn't appreciate the humor though, I understood it but it was just too obvious. I mean, it would have been funnier if you had to think on it for more than two seconds. But I mean come on, Hippiemancers, flaking out, I was looking foward to something original.
Well I think the nature of Erfworld itself is becoming clearer. The map in the first panel was interesting to say the least. I wonder just what Sizemore was learning, or trying to learn, from Janis.
The hippy jokes weren't bad either
Spoiler
With Sizemore out of the way my money is on Jillian being the next Plaid Warlord

Hehe, loved this one, especially with the hippiemancers.
My first thought when I saw the island though, was "Oh oh oh oh, its the Lemmings 2: The Tribes island!" Did anybody else think that?

Assuming that Croakamancy has a "black" color scheme, that'd put them directly opposite the Hippiemancers ... And I'd guess that the brown next to the Hippies is the Dirtomancer space ... So why is Sizemore working with the Gobwin Knob forces?

Iron Fist Orc, according to the cast page, Sizemore is a member of the "(nearly lost) Plaid tribe." So maybe he's working for the Plaid tribe simply because he was born into the Plaid tribe.
Hippiemancers are most likely of a rainbow sort of magic, which includes all colors. Even black. So its not like the Hippiemancers are the opposites of the Croakamancers.
My opinion on Erfworld 11: Wanda has a nice ass. *cough*
No, seriously, the Magic Kingdom looks like it's divided by colors, much like the magic of Magic: The Gathering. Should prove interesting to see what the other 'mancers are like.

Well... not really.
Black isn't in the rainbow, and it isn't a colour.
well black is as much a color as white is. black is jsut the mixture of all colors and white is the abscence of all colors while retaining opacity. and as far as the opposite of croakamancers, i would say the as yet unseen healamancers would be. two different sides of the same coin, healing and uncroaking.
Actually, color and optics really get confusing after a while. Especially because when you mix all colors, you get black and when you mix all light wavelengths, you get white.
I'd like to know how Wanda went from being under attack by a Dwagon at Gobwin Knob to looking for Sizemore. It's like a whole chunk of story just went missing.
ETA: To me the Magic Kingdom colour thing is also a joke about how amusement park maps (like Disney's Magic Kingdom) are divided into theme areas, with each area having a seperate colour scheme on the map.

I'd assume via either a spell or the "Portal Park" that Sizemore referred to. Incidentally that may, or may not, be the city at the centre of the map.

actually, she wasnt under dwagon attack. bogroll was being used as target practice (note "parasol painted like a bull's-eye") and she happened to walk in to it. so after the target practice was over, over the next few turns, she was able to get to "the magic kingdom".
I thought the hippie teacher looked completly stressed. Wonder if that's somehow relevant to the plot cause I thought she'd be the sterotypical doped up 'what will be will be' hippie.

Still not laugh out loud...but at least it dropped the "mispelling" shtick.
He didn't "drop" it, it just wasn't necessary for this particular comic. There is a pattern to what gets misspelled and this strip didn't need any of those words.
With that out of the way, "hippiemancers". Heh. I did literally laugh out loud when I saw that. Well done. Didn't catch the druid thing though, good call.
For some reason I really enjoyed how the ocean was also color coded. I wonder if it means anything...
I think it could hint that the world of Erfworld may not be circular. My reason is that it just wouldn't look good visually if the colors collided with each other. (Unless the new colors formed would create an island or something.) Besides that, the colored waters can merely just stop being colorful, or they go on like that indefinitely.
I just guess that picture triggered a strange train of thought in my head. Oh well!

Am I the only one who thought of Janis Joplin when they saw the instructor?

Sorry, but I haven't laughed at any of the comics yet. I'm waiting, though. Right now, I'm just confused. There are too many similar-looking characters and places.
Sorry, the next part isn't going to be directly related to #11.
Was the twoll that was reported by Lillian Bogroll, or just some random twoll sitting in a field? Were the uncroaked there on the twoll's side?

Bogroll only has one eye and he's back at Stanley's headquarters. And yes, the uncroaked were on the same team as the twoll. Basically, if it looks undead and/or ugly, it probably belongs to Stanley. If it's cute and fuzzy wuzzy, it's probably Ansom's.
Not sure how you're getting characters mixed up (aside from general twolls vs. Bogroll. That's understandable). The good guys (Jillian, Ansom) are blond and the bad guys (Wanda, Stanley) are darker. There's a primary guy and girl on each team. That's about it right now.
