I've read through several threads in this forum looking for an explanation, but haven't found one: why is "orly" so funny/not funny/cliched/whatever? What is it a pun on in the first place??
I think it would have been much more funny if I'd gotten it from the start; now I've spent so much time wondering that it seems to contrived....*sigh* It is funny though.
I really do hate that bird. Yet it seems that in all my travels across the internet, desperately fleeing that moronic winged creature, I missed the oasis of GitP where, apparently, not a soul has heard of this phenomenon.

Interestingly enough, GitP is the only place I had ever seen it before. Well before Erfworld joined us.
