@ Police_Palace: Haha, you're going to give me a big head. Just being compared to Giant's OoTS is an overwhelming honor. We are working on the update dealie. Like this weekend I'm going on a road trip to the guy who helps me make it's place and we're going to hammer out like the next dozen scripts then just start making em like mad, and if we can hold out we might go 2x a week.
The forum is kind of dead. We mainly just use the comments because they are more convenient. I'm actually talking to another webcomic in hopes of having like a join forum because a forum needs to have a certain input size or it just dies of inactivity, but I mean if you had 4-5 smallish webcomics all pouring into 1 forum I think you could get enough members for it to be worth having.
Actually I've never heard of him. I'm planning on working with Sam (In addition to drawing his own comic he helps me with drawing some of the harder stuff on my comic, as alas, not ever emotion can be conveyed by pointing. Would be nice if they could be....)
I dunno as of now though I'm happy with the comment bar. Get's spammed less than forums and it is right there on the front page so people are more likely to see it and post on it.
You know it's funny I think you are the very first person I've ever heard said they liked the prophecy element. It's interesting cause the prophecies are like most prophecies lazy foreshadowing. My whole goal in it was to get in this foreshadowing to keep things interesting but make it very JaBish. Like some of the prophecies sound massively important (like Marbles's) but are quickly defused by something stupid. Jack's sounded important and was originally played off as a dumb joke but later because incredibly important in saving his life, and of course Jill's wasn't even a prophecy.
Awesome comic! The art's great, humor's great, storyline's great... What else is there to say about it?

The banner in your signature should probably contain a link.

Actually I've never played Fable. I learned about the villain in Fable from getting multiple search hits from people trying to find "How to Kill Jack of All Blades" which at first had me confused cause why would people be looking for instructions for killing my titular character.
I started reading this, and enjoyed it. It's quite a good fantasy comic, and I especially like Jill and your take on orcs. I had to stop reading when I got to Chapter 7, though. It's nothing against your comic, it's just that I've reached my limit on cliché sitcom romantic comedy for the week (I had a Clone High-watching marathon, if you must know.) From how you've treated tired clichés like that previously, I have little doubt that you handle it amusingly.
Overall, good stuff.

If you are willing to type more. I'm always interested in hearing C&C on my work. The people here are so nice and friendly I rarely get much on the lines of negative feedback.
Primarily if you can give specifics on the things you felt were cliche and I didn't handle as well as I possible could have that would help me more than anything.
It's one of those things though, I knew when I started making comics there is no way I could possibly make a comic that everyone will like, but at the same time I can't realistically take all the positive feedback I get and write off the negative feedback as "Not my target audience" and ever expect to grow.
People actually needed to search for that on Google? Killing Jack of Blades isn't complicated; it just takes a very long time, especially in the Lost Chapters version.

No, I read further later, and it turned out well. Well, okay, not well for Jack or anyone, but funny.
I'm just generally cynical about love triangle-style plots. Good points for yours are that Jill didn't fall for the lame "love-note edit", and that everyone involved got a handle on the situation fairly quickly, without much unnecessary "omgwtf is going on" angst. The bad point is that Jill did fall for the lame "just happened to walk in on her boyfriend kissing someone who looked exactly like her and left without getting an explanation." Which despite having such a long and seemingly specific description, happens a lot. But fortunately, she has more of a brain than 98% of female love interests in fiction, and figured it out with only a little prompting.
Anyway, outside that specifc sub-arc, your comic is overall excellent. Rushed in some places, dated jokes in some places (Pokemon references? I laughed out of nostalgia, but...) but in general, quite good.

I agree with you there. Angst is one of those things that drives me away from a comic like nothing else. Writing relationships in comics is unbelievably hard cause everything is cliche. The big thing that worried me, and if anyone is opposed to it I completely understand is Tsai's post coma behavior.
I mean there is a small thread of logic in it. Tsai has been a puppet for 5 years, and just now gets free will. She becomes extremely attracted to the person she thinks saved her life, and at the same time thinks she is fulfilling her prophecy. It might not be the worst written homewrecker part, but at the same time it always concerns me that it might boarderline "Lawls, I'm teh evel gurl. Im datin' yur bouyfriend."
Waf, just thought I'd let you know. The comments stuff is screwed up for me.
For the record, the only comment I have made is
"I thought Waf falling down was the punchline...
It was funny enough."
and
"Blarg. That was not me. It was someone pretending to be me.
I love this comic, and even if I didn't, I wouldn't have posted it. Trolls and impersonators make me sad."
Anything else isn't me, and should not be taken as my opinions or thoughts. Just wanted to point that out.

Ah, yay, I discover that this comic is going strong, rather then me finding a comic that has long been dead. Great comic. I love it! By the way, you do realize your link-thing for OotS is kida backwards, right?

Give a player a fish, and he’ll probably try to sell it to an NPC fisherman.
Teach a player to fish, and next week he’ll show up with the book, “The Complete Adventuring Fisherman”. He’ll start hunting for some monstrous leviathan to catch and enslave, and he’ll be dual-wielding two fishing poles.
FMA: I killed both of those comments. I thought it seemed a little weird that you originally liked the comic. Then didn't really care for it. Then hated it with a passion. Congrats though, the first known impersonator in my comment bar chose you.
