Rex Basset, Purveyor of "Basset's New Dry Goods", rummaged through his order ledger, and blinked, his eyebrows raising.

I'll be... That earlier order was for *Points at Selrahc's name in the ledger* Selrahc, Not Doc K. I didn't THINK the Doc'd be ordering a cane with an Ebony Hippo as a topper.

After a few more drinks, I had calmed down a bit and realized that I shouldn't point at Doc over a little argument, everyone knew Doc sometimes was a bit gruff. Now, that hippo... where did he come from "You there" *points at Selrahc* "where did you come from?"

((Hmm well no one has contradicted Kyrian yet, so I think its relatively safe to say he was being honest. This puts him at the top of the to kill list for the outlaws, therefore it would probably be best for the baner, whoever he may be, to protect Kyrian tonight.

I've been debating with myself whether the seer and fool should scry Kyrian, on the one hand it would let the seer know if hes lying or not, but on the other, odds are that hes being honest, and so scrying him would be a waste. I suppose I will leave it up to the discretion of those who believe they are seers. Not that I'd have any control over any of these people anyway.

The fellow possse might want to state if Kyrian is a liar, as their silence can be interpreted as acceptance of his claims.

The Banker should probably protect someone high profile, such IE one of the forum "celebrities" like Atreyu and Alarra.

Just a random strategy ramble, don't mind me.))

Faerwain gives some random NPCs a few cents, making them dig graves for a proper burial.
"Like I always used to say to the schoolmaster of Moritzburg, poor dead people are only humans, too." He then enters the saloon and orders a beer.
"I only hope this crazy seaman van der Decken is not at the bar again, he will insult my excellent humanistic education with tales of mermaids again."

((Maybe a little unfair to point at somebody who has not posted yet, but then I don't think I'll put him actually in danger.))

He said this was his first time with a role, didn't he? He was a werewolf in WW II, WWC I, and he was a Rebel iin Empire. This isn't his first time with a role.)

(oh, wait, he said first time with THIS role, that's different. But at least I know he's playing in this game.)

(^ HAHAHA! Take that, hippo. I may not have led the bandwagon against you, but I can help it along. *the llama finally gets his revenge by hanging the filthy hippo that killed him in all the other games.)

Thes is so taken aback by being given candy he can't even respond before Basketking goes back into his store.

"Candy?! Do I look like the sort that would like candy?!" His voice is high, which is funny, since he is a might tall for it not changing yet.

After a few moments though, and when he thinks no one is looking, he places it in his mouth in a manner like one would chew on the butt of a cigerette, attempting to at least be cool about the consumption of candy.

(( To meta game for a second, it is been shown in the past the first to point is generally no-one in particular. It could be an honest mistake that he just didn't check the final roster, and hence picked someone who wasn't in the game. Tormskull is a good pick by an alpha , but since the alpha's know that people are looking for known good players, maybe they tried to pick some people who were not as obvious.

Anyways, it seems more suspicious to me that the Llama-mule seems to be trying to push the bandwagon for little reason, but then again, I don't think exachix is playing in this game, so maybe he is just a bit lost without his habitual point. ))

As the crowd points at the hippo, he begins to question them.

What! This is madness. I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m just the dealer.

You dealt me bad cards!

That’s why it’s called gambling friend. Sometimes you win, and sometime you lose.

You’re in cahoots with them! I didn’t see you cut the deck.

I’m not playing. I have no interest in who wins.

An NPC grabs at Selrahc. 5 aces fall from the hippo’s sleeve.

He cheated us. Kill him!

The mob chases the hippo from the saloon and out into the street. They catch him easily as he’s not running fast for some reason, tie him up, and drag him over to the hangman’s noose.

Oh, he’s heavy. He doesn’t look that heavy. Hey, quit your struggling.

After looping the noose around the hippo’s neck, the switch is pulled. There is a distinct “hrrrk”, followed by clank, clank…clank.

The crowd looks underneath the hangman’s platform. They spot on the ground below, a shiny gold bar. Embossed upon it Ess Em Bee Gee - Savings and Loan. Another NPC shouts. That’s from the bank!

Selrahc the dealing hippo, was hanged. He was a Bandit. The sun sets in the western sky, night falls.

Please PM to both Raldor and Supagoof. You have 24 hours before night ends. Due to the ability of everyone to PM at night (because you all can transfer money), we will not end night early.

Doctor Quentin does a bit of a jig in the dust over killing one of the bandits so early. He almost falls over however, and practically smacks into several other townspeople. Realizing that hes perhaps a bit too drunk, he stumbles back in the direction of his office, figuring that he can just stay there tonight.

After all, it would take a bit of time by horse to get back to his house on the outskirts of town. And everyone says to not drink and ride.

((Heh, I was wondering when someone was going to do that....))

On the bottom of the bar, there is an inscription.

Ess Em Bee Gee town funding. 1 of 5. This bar is 100% genuine pyrite.

Reading it, you recall a story of how Ess Em Bee Gee was formed.....

The pyrite, originally used to purchase the land, was given to the native indians in trade. The town's founding father couldn't bring themselves to cheat the indians. So they bought these pieces back using real gold, and have kept them locked in the town bank with other real gold for safekeeping. Though the pieces hold no actual value, they do have sentimental value to the townspeople.

((This gold, along with other real gold, was stolen from the bank and is just used to mark a bandit. Thank you for allowing me to tell a story of how the west was bought though....... ))

Wow. For once we actually got someone with a first day bandwagon. And the villager side just won in WW VI, as well as WWC III looking like an eminent win for the villager side. Not since the very start of the WW fad has the villager side won, and I'm not sure if we've EVER had a good first day lynch. 2007 is a good year to be a villager.

((Been a pleasure ))

Faerwain shakes his head over the crazy seawolf and talks to the saloon audience in general.

"I appreciate everybody who seriously tries to lift himself up to the Olympus of higher arts, but to be honest I admit he isn't Sarah Bernhardt. I have long worked with the men choir of the skittles club "Alle Neune" in Moritzburg to let my inspirational light shine upon the more simple men, but this singing voice could not even be saved by Carl Maria von Beethoven."

With this remark, he empties his glass and hobbles towards his room.
