A human must make the call, the tools provided by vBulletin (IP logging) only identify potential clones. We know people share computers, we know people use public computers and we know some large networks share a single IP.

If he is merging the alts then they will all show up as Supagoof having the posts, otherwise, I believe the posts are still there, it just states the user as banned.

It has been suggested that I should use the term 'closed' rather than 'banned' (aka 'friendly banned') for accounts you no longer what to use. Although there is technically no difference, I think this is a better term to use.
You will know when the accounts have been merged or closed, trust me, you will know.
We will take efforts to ensure that no mistakes are made and people don't claim alts that are not theirs. When we start actually closing/merging accounts, we will detail the appeals procedure and let you all know what is happening.
I have made a supplemental thread to this to make identifying alts much easier, if you are able to log in and post as per my instructions in that thread, then we very much appreciate it.

My brother had an account on here at one point (don't know if he had it removed in some way or just abandoned it, I know he's stopped posting here though) which I believe was called Michaelius (might've been Michealius, but I'm fairly sure it's the former). I know he's posted from one my machines before and used that machine to register, so I'm just letting you know it's not me. I'm not doing this in the supplemental thread as a). obviously I can't log in to it as it's not my account and b). I don't know what he wants done with it (I doubt he cares tbh). Like I say this is mostly to confirm that it's not me but my brother.
