This is the detail of the peninsula my players will start on, that bars in the lower right represent one days travel for 30ft movement and 20ft movement respectively http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h2...stewie/pen.jpg
They look well done, a bit faint so I couldn't see everything. I'm afraid I'm no geographer so I can't say how acuarate they are but it seems like a quite large and detailed world so I assume your players are in for a treat.
Let's see... neglecting any distortions from the map projection, the first map measures about 680x960 miles. Great Britain fits in that area pretty well, and has a useful mix of terrains to compare to... here's the one overlaid on the other, more or less to scale. So compare the geography of Great Britain over similar areas and you should do okay.

Did you scan the maps onto a computer? If you haven't tried it already, find some construction paper, a thin bit of cardboard, or other similar thick paper-sized object. A manila folder would also work well. Put your map on top of this, and then put both of them into the scanner, so that the light won't shine through the paper and make it hard to see.

BTW, I'm not the OP :) I was saying I couldn't see the scans.

Good suggestions, regardless.
Heh, my mistake
Um, I might not be able to get to it until after the weekend, but it is within my capabilities to copy the OP's maps to my computer and alter them so that all the lines show up. I (and anyone with a half decent image editing program) would just need to change the light/dark levels and the contrast.

Guessing by their positioning, I'd say the crosshatched lines are mountain ranges, correct?
