Post Beguiler Building 101

Okay, so I've been poking around with the search function, and I've found a few tips here and there (like, "Get Shadow Evoc/Conjuration"), but not much else.
Maybe I just fail at searching.

Anyway! The people around this board seem to have a (fairly insane) powerful grasp on the pros and cons of spellcasting mechanics. Can anyone help me craft a Beguiler build? Feat suggestions? Advanced Learning? I'm making one and I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Here is my secret

Some handy links for CO work
http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=482636

It is a catalog of the major threads on the CO boards, updated like once a month. Very handy.

Going Beguiler with a variant Domain Mage as the primary and Ultimate Magus is pretty nice for most leveling up games and fueling some meta spellcasting. Lot of skill points and the Spellcaster can pick a few nice divine spells.
