biggrin Motivators and Lolerfs (image-heavy)

Motivators and lolmemes are a special category of image manipulating fun. I think that they deserve their own thread, separate from the icons and wallpapers. Since I'm going first, I figured that I might as well start with the easy one.

A slightly larger version (800x600) is available by clicking on it. I'm not as experienced at making motivators as I am at other image manipulations so I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism.

Update! I made a banner for giving proper credit to Rob and Jamie for all of the derivative works in this thread. I think that I've covered everything needed to abide by the Creative Commons License that they're using. If you use it then please make it a hyperlink to the first page of the comic like I did, otherwise I also have a larger version that you can use that displays both URLs.

the sign of a good piece of art is that it inspires people in different ways. I do like the 'lol' pictures...some of them are very cute.

Small version; I'm still tweaking the final one a bit:

Edit: Replaced with more polished version.

Hmmm...How about...

PLANNING: Hours of meticulous preparation thwarted in an instant of stupidity...

Gotta find a good picture for that one...probably go best with an unlettered panel 6 of page 46.

Acually inspired by the Magic card 'Reroute'..."Three hundered years of practice thwarted by an instant of mischief"

Parson's klog...page 4 2nd panel...the pic of bogroll...without the letterbox that one would be fun...

ACID: Yeah..it's like that.

Hey, nice.

As for lolerfs, I posted one to "Invisible Walls" a couple days ago. Looks like I jumped the gun.

I'll put it in its proper place (here, in this thread):

Yes! Awesome! I was hoping for stuff like this. Here's another motivator (motivaterf?), this time in widescreen.

It looks like the caption got lost (maybe the text layer was underneath an image layer when you merged it into the final image).

Edit: Never mind; it was a browser issue.

8th and last panel from Page 15 without the text.

Caption: "Parson Gotti - Schmuckers can buy everything."

or

"The Perfect Warlord - Yeah, we know. Just trust us on this one."

Panel 5 from Page 32:

"U CAN'T HAS BUKKIT OR CHSBGR!"

If I was better at Photoshop or had some textless images to work with.. I probably wouldn't stop torturing this forum with my wry, sophisticated sense of humor.

PS. Ok, I gave it a whirl with Paint. Yeah, old skool.
