The importance of having "Fashion" as one of your strengths:

(I was able to extrapolate a few lines to fill in Wanda's figure behind the text boxes, and put it on top of a Paint Shop Pro gradient with stone texturing. I've already put in a request on the blowup thread.)

Nice job on the arm, especially. That was probably the most work to fill in.

The blowup thread is getting pretty backed-up. But at least the print ad provided some good clean art-source material.

My first attempt. Significantly hampered by only having paint on my laptop (I need to get the Gimp on here...)

I also came up with a somewhat more somber take on that image:

Decided to give one of these a try, not sure if this should have been a motivator.

Had to fiddle a little with the image since the motivator generators don\t allow for images that wide, hope it is not noticeable

Nice one!

One technical tip: You might want to try using some techniques for reducing the file size (like reducing the color depth) to save on bandwidth -- here's a description of how to do that using the GIMP (note: I recommend trying some of the dither settings instead of "none" as the author recommends).

At this point, the division into two threads is more a historical relic than anything else, so don't worry about it.

LOL! I especially like the "outrun the dwagons" one.

And another demotivator:

I don't have photoshop.. but one of the last panel in this one could be good.. something like

DINNER ETIQUETTE
Knowing which utensil to use in which situation is key.

Something like this?

Originally posted here. I tried it without altered dialogue, too.

It's not exactly a motivator - I was trying for something a bit different that time.

And I recommend GIMP as a Photoshop alternative - it's free to download.

@TigerHunter: Excellent take on "Outrun"! Now I need to de-coffee my keyboard...

Is there some kind of reference there that I am missing here? I mean, it's funny, but I can't help the feeling that I don't get it even though I think I get it.

That hopeless feeling is the feeling which demotivators are meant to evoke.

I've decided to try my hand at making a Demotivator. Here's my first try:

I was going to put a caption that says something to the effect of: "Well, Stanley has been doing that to me figuratively since he became Overlord...", but I decided to go the "less is more" rout.

I like these a lot :D.

Is there a demotivator generator available that will include the proper art credits?

I doubt it, but you should be able to save a copy of the image, add them, and host the result on some other image site. (Personally, I just put everything together in Paint Shop Pro.)

Or if all else fails, attach the credits in text.
