Actually, I think we kind of did, objective-wise. (Our goal was to be our own country, England's was to keep us as a colony, now we've got the USA.) 1812, on the other hand... I'll concede that.
But as for the nukes, they may be over there.....
...But we've still got the button over here.

But I don't think I would want him as a dinner guest.
Strip 16 is finished, which is good, as I'm not sure how much time I'm going to get this week to do any further ones. I may only update once this next week, I apologise in advance if this is the case.
Just a small request, can we wrap up the thing about the nukes? It's half way to being political, and I don't want this thread locked
Anyhow, he is Jaw's moment of glory:
Strip 16 - A Nightmare for Men Everywhere
Spoiler
As always comments are welcome, plus random banter as long as it's not political
Oh and you are allowed to feel sorry for the octopus
No been quite as busy as I expected so far this week, so I've actually finished the next strip, though I must admit it was an easy one to do. 7 strips in 16 days is hardly Salmon-esque speed but it's not bad by my standards!
Strip 17 - Opposites Don't Attract
Spoiler
In a few strips time there's going to be a significant plot exposition, with a bit more info about Jenna's past. I'm warning in advance, for those few strips comedy will be out the window, but I'm hoping it will enrich the story a little and explain a few things...
Anyhow, feel free to comment as usual...keeps this thread towards the top of the list
I cast teleport on an enraged dire bear so it appeared in a small village with a population of about 10. There were no survivors.

Not bad, although in the newest Dawn of the Webcomics I think I was the first to persistently hit near-daily updates, so it should be more "Lyingesque" than "Salmonesque"

What? Are you trying to steal my spotlight?! Buzz off!

Yes, but Salmon tastes better.

I betcha they'll end up as villains anyways. I mean, they're a pretty evil-looking party, headed for the town Jenna & Company are from. It would seem this doesn't bode well...

Hi all, my previous comment about my week not starting as busily as I expected came back and bit me on the ass. Hard. There will probably be one more comic before Christmas, and I also have to work on my Webcomic Sacret Santa submission, which is going to be difficult.
Expect a comic Thursday probably, then another 3 or 4 days after Christmas. In new year posting should get a lot closer to normality, and I will be able to update more often!
I double this. I tried. It sucks. It's hard and stressful. Though it turns out good (sometimes) it IS insanely hard.
Cool. I'll probably be starting a webcomic soon.
I would say take your time, Banjo, but I need you to hurry; now that Failing Saves is on break until January, I don't know how I'll get my Oots-fan-comic-fix without you! Help!

Okay, I'm going to have to disappoint you Mockingbyrd
I'm going away for Christmas, and as such Whuitefeather will be out of action until the new year. Apart from the Secret Santa Christmas comic if I get that before I leave. I'll do my best to have the next one done for January 3rd, but we'll have to see.

Why are you grinning as you say you're going to disappoint me? When did you all go sociopathic?
Have fun on Christmas vacation, and don't sweat it. I eagerly await the return of all the fan comics. Safe travels, Mr '85.

Sorry for the delay over Christmas and New Year, but I'm back now and in a mildly creative mood! Work on strip 19 has begun, and hopefully I'll get it up later this week, maybe Saturday.
Hope you enjoy and that you can remember what's happened
