The Sticks Awards are given to the best strips of all times, chosen by the polls here in the Playground. Read the The Sticks Awards Results Compilation thread for more details and previous results.
To vote, simply post your favorite strip of the current 5 on the thread. You have 3 days to do it.
Note: Sorry for the delay. I was intentionally delaying this one, meaning less "downtime". That's because the September 7th is the equivalent of July 4th for us Brazilians, it's our Independence Day, and I will go on a trip, returning Sunday. On Monday, the new poll should be up.
The poll will close on September 8, 12:45 PM forum default time.
This is a tough one, but I have to go with 311. It really sets up Haley's character for the remainder of the fouth centenary of strips.

I'm going to go against the grain and go for the sheer poetry of 313. Yeah, yeah. No punchlines. Don't care. It's full of beauty and wonder. And can be downright moving if you let it.
So, no apologies from this corner. 313 all the way.
While 497 blahs is tempting, and I really liked the gag about buffalo wings (been there myself!) I'm going to vote for #313 as the most striking strip of the set. Beautiful artwork, showing just how much you can get out of 'simple stick figures', and a story told without a word of dialog. Priceless.
I don't see anything special in 313. It's not special or "priceless" at all, and I think anyone could make something like that. I see stuff like that in lots of comics, and stuff alike in TV too.
But that's only my opinion.
312 or 314? mmmm.... 314.

The punchline with the buildup throughout the strip with that Elan-is-totally-Elan twist at the end is just great, one of the best in OotS imho (and that's saying a lot). Also, I feel a comic with Haley-self dialogue should figure in the top ones somewhere.
Having said that, 312 is good for having the rest of the party in it. And 313 is pretty softening.

OOoh, it's a toss up between 311 and 313 for me, but the inner goth wins. 311. It's such an insight into Haley and it is very true to most womens lives i've known.
