Re: The Generica Chronicles (UPDATE: Page 1 posted)
The plot is looking cool so far. If I could make a suggestion, could the narration text not have a white background? I think that would help the effect. Still, it's a good comic.

Re: The Generica Chronicles (UPDATE: Page 2 posted)
Comic 2 is up. From now on, the comic will (hopefully) update twice a week because I had the comics up to here outlined before I started. I will write the future ones from scratch and have not yet drawn every character for them, so they'll take longer.
And yoshi, I took your advice in page two's last panel. Is that better?
Re: The Generica Chronicles (UPDATE: 11-11: three character portraits)
I like them. Although the style is a bit odd, that will improve. Also, tiny bit of advice, after 1 month you can't change the thread title anymore, so you might want to remove the update name by then.

I like it. It is very mysterious.
What exactly do you mean by "odd?" Any advice is welcome.
And I knew about the 1 month rule, but thanks for the reminder.
Re: The Generica Chronicles (UPDATE: 11-11: three character portraits)
Alright, here is my advice:
First make the feet bigger and make the ends round. Also, I think it would look better if you would make the bodies shorter. I think it would look better that way, also make sure all the lines are equally thick. It looks a bit strange on Abiel. Also, I love his hair.
Re: The Generica Chronicles (11-15: shrunken linking banner and original comic #1)
I posted the reworked banner.
Also, I posted the first comic from the original version of Generica. This is not the same as comic #1, but an earlier comic which I removed completely.
Re: The Generica Chronicles (11-15: shrunken linking banner and original comic #1)
Not really; the intended schedule was Tuesdays and Fridays, but I outdid that last week. Next week will probably have some overproduction too; I only have school for Monday and Tuesday.
So yes: the comic updates when I finish a comic, at least two times a week.
Unless you'd rather I stick to a two-a-week schedule and just keep a buffer. I won't complain about that.
Good stuff so far. The name "Generica" has a great ring to it. I like the gentle prodding of the fourth wall without actually speaking to the audience. I have a strong suspicion that Cale will be a Belkar-esque character. I look forward to seeing more of this, I think it has some good potential.

Page 5 is posted. I know the punchline is really just a redoing of page 4's, but I genuinely couldn't think of any other two panels to finish the page when I drew it. I promise never to do that again. I hope the finger puppets and plot exposition make up for it.
Yeah. Looking back at this comic, it's not that good. I'll redo the last few panels when I get the chance, but I'm not going to make it #1 on my priority list.
EDIT: page five has been changed. I like this one better, but the original is now in the "original version comics" section.
Heh, this isn't half bad. I like the humour, the last strip made me laugh.
As you post more strips your art style should improve, as that's probably the weakest part of this strip at the moment. Having said that, the humour is good, the story is set up okay, and the art isn't exactly bad, so all in all a decent start!
Re: Webcomic: The Generica Chronicles: Updates 2 or 3 times a week
Page seven is up. It's not as long as the others, but the longer version involved the worst pun ever, so I went with this one.
@V: The early comics were mainly plot-based. I'm currently in a section that's entirely intended to be funny, but isn't strictly necessary for the plot. I hope to have a good balance of the two.
