@Onasuma: I vaguely remember putting a dark blue shirt underneath the armor. And upon rechecking, its a very very dark blue.

From what I can see here:

It appears that it starts off as a circle. The circle is then turned into a path using Cntrl+Shift+C and the addition of nodes allows a void to be made inside. Another, empty, circle is made and fitted to the inside of the ring created from the first circle.

After that, a couple extra nodes, some splitting, and Cntrl+K, makes an object that can be infront and behind of another object(s) simultaneously.

Now i have no idea how dr.bath did it. But it would probably be like the way lying proposed it.

Yes, haruki-kun is right. Our original idea had something to do with "the adventures of mr.saturn and vespe"...but that didnt flow very well. As the name evolved, it eventually became "Ring V", to look like we weren't so conceited of ourselves.

But i suppose a name is only what you make it.

As of August 2007, 1 gold piece (1/50 lb) was worth $807. So you'd be charging approximately $4035 for a cameo
