In comic #418, Hinjo asks a female soldier if she delivered his package.
Was it ever explained what it contained or who was the receiver?
Was it intended to be some kind of diplomatic gift to one of the other South nations?
Yes, I know this might be overthinking it.
And I know that one strip is riddled with double-entendres.
Still, given the often cryptic nature of this comic and the apparently insignificant clues that are often left hanging for months before being revealed as some vital (or minor) plot twist, I can't help but wonder if an explanation was ever given for it.

Yes, you are. The entire strip is an enourmous, long list of double entendres, constituting an extended penis joke. In this regard, you are invited to stretch your mind to score on what a package might be in this context (or just whip out your favourite "your language - english" translation site and have a look, good ones also list colloquial use of vocabulary.

Well, according to Rich's commentary in WaXP, its primary purpose was actually to establish the existence of Hinjo's junk. So it's understandable that someone might assume "the package" had a purpose as well.
..and keep in mind that a throwaway flavor joke about the MOTD being childish - confused why when he wished hard for something to happen, it did not happen - turned out many strips later to have been referencing an actual power he has. So you never know !
Yes, let's keep talking about Hinjo's junk? Is that something for the Class and Level Geekery Thread? Is it a +1 or a +3 jnk? He is some sort of King, so he must have a kingly junk, yes?
(Yes, it was about establishing the boat was there, but the package was not part of that)
