So its night time and on the beat you have to find out who the mafia member is and then lock them up and throw away the key. Your superiors thought it'd be best not to tell you who was also after this crook. You have to rely on your instincts. Now its time to lock up the mafia member for good.

Ali sat down at her desk and frowned, looking over her paperwork. The mafia had someone inside, and her diagnostics of unusual network activity pointed to a quintet of suspects... one of them herself.
Grumbling slightly, she cast a glare at the computer and considered kicking it again, like she would have her home PC, muttering "I know I asked for those ferretting out information on the Mafia... but you weren't supposed to consider my callibration to be a search done by me! Urch..."
Shaking her head, she choose to contact her four 'compatriots' who also seemed to have an... undue interest... in the group... see what they had to say...

I'll try it with honesty: I scried Doseki and got "mafia member" as a result.
So:
* He could be anyone other than the paranoid cop and I'm paranoid.
* He could be the mafia member and I'm the cop.
* He could be the cop and I'm insane.
* I can't be naive.
* He could be anything except naive and you're the naive cop
* He could be the insane cop and you're the cop
* He could be the naive cop and you're lying
* You can't be paranoid
* You can't be insane

Well, I scried Yspoch and got "insane cop" which I think means that I -have- to be the Nieve Cop.
If I were the paranoid cop, I'd see Yspoch as Mafia.
The insane cop -never- sees anyone else as insane.
If I were the cop, and Yspoch really -was- the insane cop, then that would mean that Doseki was... the cop, which can't happen :P
I suppose I could also be mafia and simply be lying to you all, but that sort of goes without saying, huh? :P

Ok, let me do a series of tests... I'll be assuming each of us is the mafia, and seeing if anything doesn't make sense :)
This is what we have:
Yspoch: Doseki is Mafia
Fin: Doseki is Insane
Fujin: Yspoch is insane
Doseki: Fin is Mafia
Test 1: Yspoch is the icky mafia man!
Fujin Akari is the naive Cop (Insane won't scan anyone as insane, paranoid would see Yspoch as mafia, cop would also see Yspoch as mafia)
Doseki could be Paranoid or Insane (The Cop wouldn't see Fin as mafia, Nieve is taken, paranoid works, and insane works too. Insane sees Mafia, where Fin is the cop, and Fin correctly identifies Doseki as Insane.)
Fin is the cop. (Naive is taken, paranoid would return mafia, insane never scans anyone as insane. This also means that Doseki must be insane, not paranoid.)
Test 2: Doseki is the icky mafia man!
Yspoch is either the cop, or a lucky paranoid (insane would mean Dos is the cop, when he has to be mafia in this test, Naive won't return mafia)
Fujin is the naive cop (Cop won't return insane, because Yspoch can't BE insane, see above. Paranoid would return mafia, insane will never scan someone else as insane)
Fin is nothing (Naive is taken, paranoid would return mafia, cop would return mafia, insane would return cop)
Thus, it is quite likely that Doseki is not a mafia member, since the results don't make sense if his are excluded.
Test 3: Fin is the icky mafia man!
Doseki is the cop, or a very lucky paranoid (insane would mean Fin is the cop, when he has to be mafia in this test, Naive won't return mafia)
Yspoch is paranoid or insane (naive won't return mafia, cop would identify Dos as paranoid)
Fujin Akari is naive (insane will never return insane, paranoid would return mafia. At first glance, it appears Fujin could be the cop and be correctly identifying Yspoch as insane... but in that case it would mean Doseki isn't really mafia, he is the cop... which is impossible if Fujin is the cop)
Like Yspoch, Fin cannot be excluded as a Mafia Member, since the scenario still makes sense without his investigation.
For completeness:
Test 4: Fujin Akari is the sexy mafia girl:
Fin is either the Cop, or a lucky paranoid (naive won't return mafia, insane would show Fujin as the cop)
Doseki is paranoid or insane (naive won't return mafia, the cop wouldn't show Fin as mafia, since Fujin is in this test)
Yspoch is paranoid (naive won't return mafia, insane would mean Doseki was naive, which is impossible as per above, the Cop initially seems possible, correctly identifying Doseki as insane, but who'se insanity shows Fin to be the Cop... but we can't have two cops.)
Ultimately, Test 4 has Yspoch being Paranoid, Doseki as Insane, and Fin as the Cop.
Thus, unfortunately, I cannot logically exclude myself as a mafia member either, though if I -were- the mafia member, it'd be pretty foolish of me to post all this, right? :P
Since I have established that Doseki is the one guy I'm fairly certain isn't Mafia, I'll change my point to Fin since, if Stu were the mafia-man, all FOUR of the tests would make sense (no one would be fibbing) and Fin pointed at me :P

It was decided that Fin was guilty, as you started to arrest him a bullet smashed through his skull, killing him. You looked around to see where the bullet came from but their was only the four of you.
As Fin fell to floor, some newspaper clippings came out of his pocket. Stu42 picked them up and you all saw them. "supercop Fin solves 5 murders in one day", "Supercop Fin solves strings of robberies that had the FBI baffled" "Supercop Fin finds my pie" and many more. It seems Fin wasn't just a cop, he was a very good cop.
If Fin was The Cop and he told us that Doseki is Insane (which should by definition be true - I don't think Fin lied (why would he?)) and Doseki told us that he scried Fujin as Mafia, she should be The Cop.
Therefore Doseki has to be the one who lied. Correct?

No i put Fujin down by mistake, it had been a vry long day!! I had scried Fin and it said that he was mafia. I did change this in time for people to see.
We can still discuss what to do. Or don't you think that's a good idea?
I'm not sure... I'm not sure if Fin's death WAS the Mafia's assassination... or if it was just flavor.
If the mob still has someone to off, then I wouldn't make too many plans atm :)
Edit: Actually, Stu - scry someone you didn't scry last time. I have reason to believe that you are the paranoid cop, and I wanna make sure you get Mafia multiple times.

You all choose to keep your selves in the building but each of you taking a different position. Each of you heard someone go to Fujin and then ask, though you couldn't work out who it was, "Can I come in, I think i left my cat here."
You heard the foot steps go into the room. Then you heard the shot. As you ran to Fujin's area you see everyone get their at the same time. You see FujinAkari dead.
Well, I scried Fujin this time and got back "mafia"! Ergo I'm paranoid.
Doseki is insane as Fin found out. If you scried Stu42 and got "the cop", then everything is clear. If you scried me you got "naive" and see that I'm not lying. If you scried Fujin you got "paranoid" then you have to decide for yourself. It's in your hands.
