Natural One - an OotS-style webcomic

[Catharsis]

Yes, it's yet another webcomic inspired by OotS. So sue me!

The updates will not be regular, and I expect a frequency of about one comic per week. I'll be going for quality rather than quantity, and Real Life is not exactly boring right now either, what with having to write down my PhD and all.

@ Lyinginbedmon: Thanks, I have now changed the format of the banners. It looks a bit cramped now, but at least it's legal.

@ the_Q: Says who? Movie-makers publish their trailers before the movie itself is available. They reach out to the community of potential watchers and inform them of the impeding launch, lest they miss it.

I know what it's like to have cramped banners - I had to cut out half of a really good banner for the Silliad 'cus it wouldn't fit.

@ Nameless: I posted the links above each banner. Also, I corrected the inexplicable woeful absence of trees in the last banner.

Took me a while to get that. You're right, the Yorn comic uses the same plot device, even down to the color scheme. Scary! Or rather, bad timing. I drew the comic on Thursday night (right through the wee hours), and the idea has been lying around in my plot plan for three weeks before that.

I promised to watch this space as the art/characters looked unique and very nicely done, in fact very Burlew'isque in the artwork.
Now that I've seen the first strip, I can only sprout hyperbole about it's awesomeness and how cool it is. Man, I'm such a fanboy!

That seems to be an established meme in D&D. I wonder if there's a line in the DMG that specifically recommends blue lightning bolts for that occasion.

Thanks, I actually pasted a few original OotS panels next to my character studies to get the proportions and expressions right. I realized a sobering amount of mistakes I've been doing with my previous attempts at OotS style (cf. the googly-eyed Knight of Dol Amroth avatar).
