This is Team RAF, the team-based variant of RAF. You can find RAF Classic, the original, free-for-all version of the game, here.
Hello, and welcome to the seventeenth game of the team-based spin-off of Silkenfist's Ready, Aim, Fire!
The theme of this game will be Diablo. The game is set during the events of Diablo II, but crossovers from Diablo I or III are fine too. The teams are the Heroes of Sanctuary and the Forces of Hell.
Recruitment is open until sometime next week. If you want to join a specific team, please specify which one. If you don't specify a team, I will add you to a random team.
The Rules:
Spoiler
The basics of the game are explained in this comic.
Other rules:
- If you don't submit an action before the deadline, you time out. A time out is counted as an airshot. If you time out twice in a row, you die.
- You can send multiple actions in advance, but only do this when it's really necessary.
- The sign-up period is four days, and each round generally takes three days. When there are only a few players left, rounds take only two days, and I start writing as soon as I have all the actions.
If you want to be added to the list, just post here and ask. Remember, you'll still have to register for the game - people on the list just get a PM to notify them that registration has started.
If you don't sign up for over three games, you're removed from the list.

Re: Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XVII - Diablo [recruiting]
I'll be with the good guys.
I'm a necromancer (who would have guessed?) who summons things a lot. And blasts other things with magical doom. Never did like the curses much, though I always went for Iron Maiden as a bonus. Having things kill themselves by wailing on your fire golem never got old.
Re: Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XVII - Diablo [recruiting]
I'm in.
As for the team...
Well...
MC...gone until the 6th.
De...
Soooo...with both people I'd want to be on the same team on not present and accounted for, put me down as being on the opposite team from Mr. Draken S. Frosthand, please.
Re: Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XVII - Diablo [recruiting]
In, as always. And in the team opposite to Pete, please.

I guess that seals it for me.
I'm with the Forces from Hell.
I'll think I'll play Shadow, the Immortal Playgrounder! *muah ha haaa!*

LLama says: Of course, the game would also have been more balanced if you all would learn not to trust Shadow
no matter what game he's in or role he has. Duos says: I've read the archives... and Shadow frankly scares the bejeesus outta me. It's like playing with a
hypothetical cross of Lex Luthor and professor Moriarty.
If he was made of SPIDERS.
Re: Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XVII - Diablo [recruiting]
I'm adding something new to the game, which I've been wanting to add for some time now, and which won't eat too much of my time (I hope).
You can now have a buddy. It sort of works like a grudge, but instead of being nemeses, you're teaming up. You get points for surviving together. It's best to be on the same team as your buddy, but you don't have to.
You can have only one buddy, but you can have a buddy and a grudge at the same time.

Re: Team Ready, Aim, Fire! XVII - Diablo [recruiting]
I'm in. Hell, you know I can never keep away from Team RAF.
I've never played any Diablo game, but I haven't let a lack of knowledge stop me before.
Forces of Hell, please. Damned bounty hunter, bringin' the goodly Enemy to their reward.

I fought The Mysterious Circle of Shadowy Chairs in Discworld I (Dei in Machina) till the end, won the game and survived and all I got is this lousy signature line.
