FAQ:

1. What's the point? Isn't there already a good aligned organization? Why didn't you just join HALO?
   
   OOC, we have nothing against HALO. (IC may be a different story.) However, we wanted an organization that only allows good-aligned members and focuses on the redemption of evildoers. If the real world can have multiple organizations for the purpose of doing good, we don't see why the forum can't hold more than one as well.
   
   
2. No seriously. Aren't you just a HALO clone?
   
   Not intentionally. We have our own purpose and our own mission, which overlaps somewhat with HALO's, but is not identical.
   
   
3. Why don't you let anyone post in the main thread without PMing first?
   
   OOC answer: Honestly, we tried it, and it was too chaotic to read.
   IC answer: You don't let strangers wander into your house at all hours, do you? We just want to know who is in our house.
   
   
4. Still, it seems awfully rude. You've offended a lot of people.
   
   We're sorry. We didn't mean to.
   
   
5. What's the point of the visitor's centre?
   
   We still want to play nicely with others! So we set up the visitor's centre thread to provide an IC access port.
   
   
6. Are you part of the Town? Or are you in an extra dimension?
   
   We didn't really know at first, but when AMEN contacted us, it seemed clear that we inhabited some sort of reality with AMEN and HALO. Which means we aren't Town. I think. (Really, we're making this up as we go along!)
   
   
7. Will you be interacting with the other groups?
   
   
   Yes, but we haven't worked out the mechanics yet. We're officially at war with AMEN, but we don't want random fighting going on in our headquarters. So we might be setting up a war thread or a plot thread or something, but we don't know yet.
   
   As far as HALO goes, we have no formal ties with them, though there is some membership overlap, and we're currently in discussions. IC, some of us have formed a negative opinion of HALO. It doesn't mean we have a problem with you OOC. (Honestly, Turtle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and she's very defensive about being a former evildoer.)
   
   
8. GLoG is a pretty silly name, isn't it?
   
   Yes. Yes it is. One of our founding members used to belong to the Evil League of Evil (If you haven't heard of it, google 'Dr Horrible'), so when she turned good, it seemed reasonable to form the Good League of Good.

Vegarius is even more blinded due to him having a mini sun (which should kill him from all radiation as well as everyone in the building), but as he comes throw he will find a Vampiric fist coming at his Face.

He walks into the main room.

Then he shadowsteps into the visitor's center.

((I'm introducing a new character. Like George, I'm retconning her so that she's been here all along. Unlike all my other characters, she is not going to be turned evil, driven insane, kidnapped, empowered with world shattering power, involved in a romantic subplot, or anything else plot related. She's here so her player can have someone normal around the base to interact with others.

Her name is Susan Elliot. She has no magic powers and no combat abilities. She can do needlework and play the piano. She is kind and empathic and generally takes care of everyone without judging them.

Sadly, player is only on lunch break so I can't undeadtime her yet. But she's around. Doing normal stuff.))

((FYI: If you want your character added in to the AMEN/HALO/GLoG/NO Heal/Hurt, contact PirateMonk or Dallas-Dakota. They have asked for volunteers. ))

Edit: MMkay, I'm gonna assume that George didn't manage to get the syringes through the portal before Kris shot him.
Kris obtains the syringes. There was much drama that Kris' player can't be bothered to go through, cause he needs to deadtime soon. Kris sends them to Tempest.

Actually no. Assumptions kill PLOT!. And we don't want that to happen. Whenever Happy (or Kaela) undeadtimes, Kris will ask George for the syringes, and if he has them, he'll send them to tempest via his shadow servant.

Ok. Kris asks George for the syringes. There was much drama that Kris' player can't be bothered to go through cause he needs to deadtime. He delivers a message to Tempest.

Czernov walks up to Susan. Hello, Susan.

Susan smiles at Czernov, concern for him apparent in her expression. "Hello, Czernov. I'm not disturbing you with my playing, am I?" She finishes her piece, and starts another one, which she knows is one of Czernov's favourites.

[Kaelaroth]

No, it's lovely. He smiles when she restarts. I always have loved Salieri.

"I remember," she says with a smile. "Do you want to hear about the latest chaos that happened last night, or would you prefer to be blissfully ignorant?"

[Kaelaroth]

Oh, please tell me. I'm sure it would take my mind off things. He smiles, pulling up a stool, but his eyes are icy.

Susan sighed. "Turtle. Again. She kept insisting that Lex was the imposter, and finally attacked her. Then only after Lex popped away did she realize her mistake. Mint took Turtle into custody, but Fanboy showed up later and broke her out. So the two of them are now missing, and no idea what they are doing. Mint and Judy left together with Vespe. I don't think they plan to return."

[Kaelaroth]

Huh. Well... Czernov shrugs. Wow.

Sarah said, "I'm not sure what's wrong with her. The alignment tests keep showing her as good, but she doesn't act that way. Perhaps she's mentally ill. Though I don't suppose her husband would ever let her be tested. Or heaven forbid, actually confined for her own safety."

Turtle ports in, just outside the dimensionally locked detention wing. She intended to speak to Magtok about her plans for the destruction of HALO. But as she went down the corridor, she saw George.

"George?! What are you doing locked up? Are you the imposter?!"

"Are you? I don't really need to prove my identity because I'm locked up anyway. Why don't you tell me what you used to have nightmares about when you first joined GLoG?"

"The slaughter of the butterflies," Turtle said. "If you aren't the imposter, then what are you doing locked up?"

"I assaulted Czernov," George said quietly.

Turtle stared at him in disbelief. "That's impossible! You're in love with him. Why would you ever hurt him?" Her eyes narrowed. "You're the imposter!"

"I'm not the imposter. I wish it were that simple. I wish it hadn't been me who did it. I'd just been attacked by the imposter, and she changed my alignment, but it was still me who did it. And..." He suddenly looked up. "You knew I was in love with him?"

"Well, yeah. It was pretty obvious." Turtle thinks a moment. "No, actually I don't think it was. I didn't see it until after I became a Rainbow Servant of Neirian. She governs love and death."

"I don't suppose... do you know if he ever felt that way about me?"

"No. He never did," Turtle said, shaking her head. "Or at least, not that I ever saw. George, what happened?"

"I kissed him."

"Is that all?"

"It's enough. He didn't want it, he wasn't inviting it by any possible interpretation, and I forced it on him."

"And then what?"

"He screamed at me in terror, and I let him go. And then he ported me in here."

"But it was just a kiss," Turtle said. "A kiss is a perfectly legitimate way of finding out if someone is interested in you. Clearly he isn't, and you stopped. Why does that justify locking you up?"

"Turtle, it isn't that simple. He thought I was going to r-r-- to force myself on him. He's traumatized."

"Well geez, if he could just see things from your point of view, maybe he'd get over it."

[Kaelaroth]

Czer nods, and shrugs, quiet.

Deep inside Turtle, Kaela ponders and ponders, spinning in an amniotic sac of myopia, metaphor, and bedazzlement. Deep inside Turtle, Kaela listens and listens. Deeps inside Turtle, Kaela giggles. "if he could just see things from your point of view" She'd said that. Kaela had heard!

Deep inside Turtle, a light swirls and swims, in a bedazzlement of power, truth, and justice, judge, jury and executioner in a raiment of power.

See things from his point of view. Kaela murmurs, quiet, his voice binding.

So mote, it be.

George was sitting in his cell, talking to Turtle, fearing that she was about to go and confront Czernov and tell him something stupid like 'Get over it' and 'it was just a kiss'. He needed to convince her otherwise...

He closed his eyes and opened them. He was in the greatroom. Instead of Turtle's voice, he heard Susan playing the piano. How did I get here? Was I teleported? And realizing at once that it wasn't quite so simple. The sounds were a little off, and the images were too clear. His balance seemed off, and his breathing easier.

He looked down and saw his hands. No, they weren't his hands, but he knew them. Czernov's hands.

Why do I have Czer's hands? He put a hand to his face. Smooth and angular. Czernov's face.

The piano abruptly went silent, mid-song. "Czernov, is something wrong?" Susan asked. "You don't look well all of a sudden."

George just stared at her in disbelief and confusion.

[Kaelaroth]

Czernov, having been sitting listening to Susan, closed his eyes, and felt a rush of warm all over him, and comfort, as it felt like he was warmer, bigger, perhaps, sitting down, comforted.

Wow, that music is really g... His voice, no longer his voice, trails off. There's no music. Nothing. And. And that wasn't his voice. It was...

Opening his eyes, Czernov blinks, his eyes too hazy. He could see Turtle. And... his body was all wrong, he was too itchy. He felt heavier, bigger, and could feel hair all over him. He... He...

I'm George.

[Tempest Fennac]

Happy Turtle may hear this message. Tempest here. Requesting permission to borrow prison cell for victim of impostor. Reply if you're okay with this.

"What music? What do you mean 'I'm George'? You are the imposter, aren't you?"

[Kaelaroth]

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

No... No... I'm Czernov... How is this happening? "George" says, his normally red cheeks ashen in panic.

A drone forwards the OK to Tempest.

((Tempest, it would be better if the message went to Susan instead. I've retconned it so she's always been here, and unlike Turtle, she hasn't been going nuts and attacking everyone.))

We'll be happy to help, Tempest, Susan says, then looks back at 'Czernov' in concern.

No, no. I was Czernov I was I was, a second ago. Now I'm in George's body, in here! His eyes fill with tears.
