Inspired by a recent xkcd strip, I decided to look at the google trends for this very own website. I wasn't too surprised by what it returned; a D&D webcomic has a strong following of geeky readers who also engage in equally geeky webcomics.
One search in particular made me smile though...
Here
Just thought I'd share that.

Not really surprising at all. I thought we all knew about the cross-pollination with TV tropes.
I also hope the google searches are going down because everyone has the site bookmarked.

If ya look up TV tropes on the site it goes
"Also searched for"
1. TV Tropes
2. Order Stick
Of course 'of the' aren't searched for on google.

The searches for "oots" have surprisingly different results. It seems The Order of the Stick is pretty popular with Scandinavian countries, oddly.
Also here

That's normal for web-comics at this time of the year.

I made exactly this thread a few months ago. It can be found
http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83273 .
It wasn't as well worded as this one.

Nope, I'm pretty sure overall hits are down not just searches... but possibly explained by a less regular schedule so people just drop by rather than hitting it at least 3 times a week. note too the drop in September 07 when Rich had his 'hiatus'
