Genevieve pulls her rapier and rushes forward, banking it all on a leap! Her armor is heavy, but dammit she IS a musketeer...
SpoilerAcrobatics roll, trying to jump into the wagon as it goes by! Hopefully this isn't too difficult... [roll0] Oh COME ON! I don't suppose you're using the action point system?
Tyr moves to N-5 (30 ft), shoots Blunderbus at horses, "This is my boomstick!"
Spoiler
I'll choose not to attack allies if they get in front, just horses. Activing Cha boost (Focus Aim).

That poor....Should help him. As Mika runs out from the building and tries to leap onto the cart.
Spoiler
acrobatics check to get onto the cart.
[roll0]
@Mika
SpoilerYou failed the acrobatics check by 4 or less, so you need to roll a reflex save to see if you can grab a hold of the side of the wagon
Huril sprints for the wagon and jumps to board it, just like the others. Great minds think alike, clearly.
SpoilerAcrobatics: [roll]1d20+5
Reflex: [roll0]
The tree root comes out of nowhere, and Genevieve almost faceplants... Her chances of making the jump onto the wagon are clearly gone.
"Hell!" She hisses, under her mask. Without anything better to do, she tries to run after the wagon. Have to hope the others pull this off...
Seeing the wagon speed up, Genevieve draws her rapier and makes a desperate leap, but her legs tangle with an inconvenient tree root and the proud cavalier tumbles to the ground in an undignified heap. It's all she can do to roll out of the way of the wagon's wheels as it speeds past.
@Genevieve
SpoilerNo action/hero points, sorry. Also, you're prone and will have to spend a move action to get up again.
Mika takes similar tack, speeding out from behind the shoreline shack to make her own daring leap. She misjudges the speed of the vehicle, and winds up dangling from a tenuous grip on the wagon's backboard.
Huril learns from the mistakes of his companions, or maybe he's just naturally more agile. Either way, he waits patiently for the wagon to come to him and easily jumps aboard behind the driver.
The guard riding shotgun turns to face the wagon's newest passengers and fires his blunderbuss. Mika, dangling behind the cargo, is protected from the blast, but Huril catches the brunt of it.
@Mika/Huril
Spoiler
Huril: 8 damage. You get an AoO against the guard with the blunderbuss, but it will have to be an unarmed strike since you don't have a weapon in-hand.
Mika needs to make a DC 15 climb check to pull herself aboard. Huril can spend his standard action to aid another by rolling a DC 10 climb check of his own. Mika will get a +2 bonus if Huril succeeds. If Mika fails her climb check by 5 or more she falls off the wagon and takes 2d6 damage. If she lets go deliberately, it's 1d6 non-lethal (DC 15 acrobatics save for none) and 1d6 lethal damage (no save to avoid that). The damage is based on the speed of the wagon, so it will go up to 3d6 next turn when the wagon reaches top speed.
Neither climbing aboard or aiding another will provoke an AoO, as neither guard has a weapon readied.
Jon also jumps into action, just not as literally as his companions. He emerges from the slave enclosure and carefully aims at the wagon's driver, drawing on his faith to smite the man. The bullet flies true, and the driver yelps and urges the team on faster as it digs into his left calf, but he doesn't look affected by any divine retribution.
@Jon
SpoilerSorry, the mook guards are just neutral, if not particularly principled, hirelings.
Tyr follows Jon out of the enclosure, taking aim at the horses in a last-ditch attempt to stop the wagon. His boomstick roars, enveloping both draft animals in a cloud of powder smoke. The injured team shrieks out a pair of pained whinnies, but thunder forward with even more speed.
@Tyr, Jon, Genevieve
SpoilerThe wagon moved 75 feet beyond you. you'll need to double move to keep pace, or you can take shots at range w/ appropriate penalties. Remember that early firearms (the pepperbox and blunderbuss) top out at 5 range increments. There are a couple lanterns on the wagon, so you can see your targets just fine.
Huril lashes out with his foot as the guard blasts him with shot, his arms coming up to protect himself as he attempts to lean away from the blast.
Spoilerto hit: [roll0]

all that damage!
Hearing Mika, he goes to help her aboard as quickly as he could, then pulls out his scimitar.
Spoileraid: [roll2]
Genevieve swears as she leaps to her feet, quickdraws the pepperbox... And aims at the most injured horse.
SpoilerSpending my last point of grit! Go Go long-range touch attack! [roll0]
"YES!" She whoops, as the bullet smacks into the creature's hindquarters.
SpoilerDamage is... [roll0]
Mika reaches up and grabs onto Huril's hand and tries to pull herself up onto the cart.
Spoiler
climb check [roll0] (-1 skill +2 from Huril)
Tyr draws his revolver as he double moves after the wagon/vehicle.
Jon lowers his weapon and sprints ahead of the wagon, positioning himself for another shot. If they hadn't grabbed the boy...bah. No one seems interested in NOT getting shot dead.
Spoilerrun action (4x move) ahead of wagon (120')
Huril kicks at the guard with the blunderbuss, landing a glancing blow on his gut as he draws his scimitar. He's about to press his advantage when he sees Mika hanging precariously from the back of the wagon. Huril throws an arm out in her direction. Their hands barely touch when the sorceress loses her grip on the backboard tumbles from the vehicle
@Mika
Spoiler5 damage, you are now prone and 75 ft behind the wagon
Tyr and Jon both pursue to wagon. Tyr stays close behind the vehicle, while Jon sprints ahead to intercept it.
Genevieve stands, pulling her pepperbox with startling speed and drawing a bead on the driver-side draft horse. Her shot flies true, catching the beast in the haunch. It stumbles, carries on for a few more limping steps, then crumples to the ground. Unable to pull the dead weight of its still harnessed companion, the other horse begins bucking in a vain attempt to tear itself loose from the slowing wagon.
"Gorum's Bollocks" curses the driver as he leaps from his perch. The other guard follows, running off into the darkness.
Spoileryou can follow, if you wish, or try to pick them off before they disappear completely
Jon rushes forward to the now still wagon. He drags the boy free, then puts the wounded horse down with a careful shot before freeing the second one. Won't leave a beast to suffer.
"Let's move before anyone else shows up. Been enough blood for one night."
Tyr fires at the fleeing driver with his revolver.
Only cowards flee!
Spoiler
I don't know distance so I'll have to rely on you DM to apply -2 hit for every range increment past me 1st (20 ft). I'll assume they are further than 30 ft (or please apply the Point blank bonus I excluded).

Tyr zeros in his revolver on the fleeing driver, calming his breath to steady his aim. The gun barks and the man's head is enveloped in a red mist, the top of his skull blown clean off.
Jon grimaces as the man falls. Why do we keep shooting fleeing men? When we get back there will be words about this.
Mika shakes her head and then proceeds to stand up.
"Ouch. That hurt."
Seeing the guards leave, she sees no need to go after them any more. She is more worried about the child and moves quickly to get up to him with her wand out ready to offer to Jon.
"Easy there, Tyr," was all Huril said as he hopped off the cart, taking a look at the kid to be sure he was working alright, though the others would probably be able to do more.
Oh yeah. Still got it. Age and a gun beats youth and the ability to leap onto moving carts any day.
She saunters forward, taking her time to get to the stopped cart, frowning under her mask as Tyr takes the shot.
"Well, that was a good shot, but you really didn't have to take it you know. He would have kept running, and his story would've been about the Dread Pirate Roberta and her jolly crew. No risk to us at all."
She reloads as she considers the wagon.
"How's the boy?"SpoilerSo, any loot in the wagon, and does the kid still appear to be breathing?
Sorry, I can't suffer a coward to flee if I can help it.
Tyr said as he reloaded his revolver and put his weapons away.
'sides, this way the fleeing guard will definately talk about the Dread Pirate Roberta, with respect. I mean, his friend had his head blown off. I'd be scared. Is the kid alright?
Tyr said as he walk over look at the driver's body.
Spoiler
Tyr will search the body to see if the guy had anything for the party (loot).
[roll0]
The wagon is stuffed with grain, pickled vegetables, salted beef, and similar foodstuffs. It's worth something, but it wouldn't be easy to get back through the gates and sell discretely.
Peter is unconscious, with a lump the size of a crab apple on the back of his head, but his breath is strong and regular.

"Alright." Genevieve carefully hoists the boy over her shoulder. "Uf. Heavy little runt. Come on, I think we're done here. Back to the boat."
Tyr picked up the gear of the driver/stuffed in backpack for carrying back to city:
We could sell this maybe, he likely won't need it now that he is dead. If we had time we could dig him a grave, but I don't think we do. And at least the beef we should bring with us, but up to guys how much in the wagon we can carry back as we need to bring the boy back and we can only carry so much.
Will the boy be alright?
"Our boat wasn't that big. I think speed is more important now regardless. Let us get to the boat and I will examine the boy's injuries."
Spoilerheal check [roll0]
@Jon
SpoilerThe boy will probably be out for an hour or two and wake up with terrible headache, but he isn't in any real danger.
Jon looks up from examining the boy, satisfied with his inspection. "He'll survive. Should wake up before we get back, though I don't envy him the headache. If there are any spirits on that wagon he might be grateful for a drink to dull matters for a bit. Suppose we could all use a pull, come to think of it." Jon scratches his chin, then shrugs.
