Cake baking makes MoonCat sleepy. At least I appear to be improving in the craft.

You've probably just had it made poorly. To each their own, though; more for me. :smallcool:

Awake, slightly hungry, and boredish. (I may attend to one of those momentarily). My fast PbP is moving very slowly today, and while the slow one has picked up a bit, it's still pretty slow.

Awesome! Can you bake me a cake, perhaps?
@Amidus: Aaah, that's a shame.

The game normally moves as about as fast as RB, so slow for it is still pretty fast. :smallamused:
I'm not doing much today, in-game, anyway; just copying a scroll and talking to some people. The players that are doing stuff have been offline, I think, so it's not like they missed much. *shrug*

Hrm... I think it's best to make it yourself, really. Buy a can or two of Manwich (or make the sauce yourself) and some ground beef, and start cooking. It's not really something that one buys already made, anyways.

I doubt she'd mind, I'd just rather not bother her while she's resting.

That game sounds like it is pretty good. I've been in 2 PbP's so far, the first fell apart with almost nothing happening, and the second is still going but most days is extremely slow. :smallfrown: The most playing I get is DMing with my friends. Trying to join another game.
I second this though. Try to make it for yourself and see if that is better.
Hmm what else qualifies as "American" food?

Oh my. I've had some luck with the one Pbp campaign I've made. We're on thread seven :smalltongue:

Indeed it is. One of the guys is a bit odd... but I've gotten used to him. Sorry that yours haven't worked out so well; I'm hoping neither of these two end up falling apart.
Er... hrm. Not much, really. We borrow a lot of stuff from other countries.

*shrug* Dunno. I've never seen it on a restaurant menu, and it tends to be pretty lackluster (read: horrible - normally far too sweet) when it's not Manwich or homemade sauce.

And yes, we started in 2011, so three years!

How odd is odd? And it's okay, it'll work out.
Yes this is true. I'm sure something actually American will come to mind eventually.

Cake baking from scratch? What kind of cakes? Mooncakes? Catcakes? Sharkcakes?

FrenchFreedom fries. Country-fried steak. Part of the problem is that the really good stuff is mostly "Southern" or "Cajun" rather than general Americana. I suppose Fried Chicken is shared between Southern Cooking, Soulfood, and Americana...
Lots of casseroles qualify. Practically anything involving turkey. Biscuits, though non-Southern style biscuits are just wrong somehow. I guess that's part of the problem of being a Southerner. My "American" food isn't really "American" enough, since it's "Southern." Even most Barbecue is Southern. Or Texan. Which is another can of worms.

Cheesecake, something I dislike, but my dad loves dearly, so I make it for him on his birthdays. The damn second one took a full two hours in the oven just becuase the damn pan I put it in was the wrong shape.
And Hatter, I was singing A Little Priest for much of it. :smallamused:
ION: I have a new god. And his name's Javert.
And I am starting to hear phantom Les Mis lyrics everywhere I go. And dsafghfgdsadsfhgd

I don't always eat sweet things, but when I do, I eat cheesecake. Especially baked. It's delicious. Much envy (the fact that I can go downstairs and just get myself some doesn't factor into this).

I think it's let me go free, but I haven't looked up the lyrics yet. And I've only listened to it more than twenty times today. >.<
