Ewww. No. No way. On that note, I want my Social Event Group to do a New Years thing together. The guys sometimes do something together and the girls always do, but never together. Except ****. I'm suppose to go out to Chicago over Christmas Break. Which includes New Years. Dilemma. :smallmad:

Yes and I actually decided to focus while typing. Which I wouldn't be able to do if I were properly drunk. Or so I'd assume.

*shudders*. Getting kneecapped by a four-year old ONCE is enough for a man to flinch at the mention of toy hammers forever.

Swiss Army Knife to the arm by a 6 year old is worse, I still keep mine though.

What? I'm not bitter about my sisters putting sparkly purple nail polish on my fingers that didn't come off so I had to go to school like that the next day ... that's a ridiculous thing to think...
Not if they're all friends and the girl didn't mind anyway.

Because all brothers, upon reaching the age of 5, sign a pact to always annoy their sisters at every opportunity. Personally, I was an annoyance prodigy and got to sign the pact at the age of 3. Of course, no brother is allowed to tell his own sister, and will deny the existence of any such pact if pressed on the matter.
Edit: the group who created the pact is called the Brothers Of Sisters Society, or BOSS. We wouldn't use the "of" in the acronym, but it makes it much cooler.

I lack aspergers and also enforce the no singing rule, if only for mental sanity, this is universal of siblings. As for how silent treatment can get someone to almost crash a car... I have no idea apart form psionics.

Your brother can get you to stop singing just by telling you to? I have to hugsquish my sister to make her stop, and that only works because it restricts airflow.

No, just a wall made of bourbon. I ended up getting a Belgian White style Woodchuck cider instead because I wasn't sure what would happen with me and a fifth of bourbon given my current munchies.

It's... something that just happens. Sort of a combination between realizing people have been laughing at rather than with you and some other stuff, IIRC.
It does always make me feel physically and mentally drained in addition to usually being emotionally drained because I go from being a bombastic, large ham ass to being THE bombastic, largest ham butt of doom when I've been inebriated. So I imagine others must experience something of that draining which would contribute to such blahness.
Plenty of water for you, young man.

I think it had to do with LaZ just being all "I love you guys" and I was really tipsy. Like it didn't matter. Which in hindsight is silly. There was no way I could no I was going to ruin an adorable moment with being tipsy. Hell, I probably wouldn't have had I not pointed it out.
But about being laughed at rather than with ... Humor and self-depreciation are my main defense mechanisms. It's nothing new.

I have aspbergers. It is an excuse for being a social shut-in.
It is NOT an excuse for being a jerk, or nearly crashing a car, and the silent treatment is just plain childish.

He tells me to stop singing if I'm anywhere in the house. When doing grocery shopping a few days ago, he tried to get me to stop talking entirely.

Well, he's only here for a week, I try and be as accommodating as possible. And he puts me in strangleholds all the time anyway. Like, for no reason, if I go near him, his arm goes around my neck.

Because I don't want him to be mad at me.
Nothing. He leaves tomorrow, and this is exactly like the other times. We just rant about to eachother when we're the only ones around and pretend everything is okay otherwise.
ION: just walked downstairs humming. First thing Brother says to me after not seeing me for a few hours is "Shh!"

That's why you learn to make him bleed and feel intense pain. Vital skill for all siblings, sisters especially.

Hah. He is so lucky you're not a brother. Or at least that he's not related to me. :smallamused:
If he mistreats you that much when he's not "mad" at you, what are you actually losing by angering him? Aside from him apparently being beyond reproach for things like trying to get you all killed and taking out any pedestrians with you.

Oh, no, man don't get me wrong about Aspergers, or anything, no, my brother is just...
He's the reason I'm the dumb/sane one in the house.
No, I definitely wasn't attributing his total jerkishness to that. My entire family, including me, are all heavily on the autism spectrum, verging on Aspergers. My brother is just the only one formally diagnosed, and I am disdainful enough of self-diagnosers that I wont say anything else about the rest of us unless I'm sure.

Mm. I wouldn't know, haven't read those things in a while, can't really remember them.
No, because then I would be harming my brother.
^.^
I don't want him to feel unwelcome here. Also, I love him. I never want to anger the people I love. I might contrarily feel the urge to really irritate the crap out of him for being unreasonable, but I hate having anyone be mad at me if I care about them.
Also, he's kinda scary when he's mad, and I don't want him to lash out at my parents.
Also, the car thing is second-hand, my dad told me about that, I wouldn't know the precise details, so I can't give any explanations for that. I just know it was bad enough my dad was ready to let him get his own way home.

That normal sibling behaviour; think of it as having the perfect birthday/Christmas/Hanukkah presemt, noise cancelling headphones, courtesy of Bose.

Oh, I know exactly what would happen if my brother was trying to make me shut up. I'd tell him to **** off and turn up the volume on whatever I was doing. Or just mock him. Hell, it works on my sister (who just gets angrier and walks away when I mock her)
