Those deer remind me of reindeer in Lapland. They can be immensely stupid creatures.
I'm still sad I didn't see any during army drills.:smallfrown: That's what you get when your stuck in a frellin' tin can most of the time.

I remember when this goat kept trying to headbutt me.
...if it wasn't a kid, it would have been a lot less cute. :smalltongue:
Thinking to do a BleachITPreborn 'animation cartoon' but i don't know the characters to choose well enough yet. :smallfrown:
Of course, there are too many also. To choose is difficult because of not wanting to offend people.
One of my friends is going to japan!
...if you see a guy with orange hair, who needs to cut his hair (possibly has it in a braid) that's my friend.
...we all keep telling him to cut it, but he never does. :smalltongue:
I went on vacation to Alaska one summer, and saw an acquaintance who attended my school. Keep in mind that Alaska alone is roughly four and a half times the size of Japan, and our home town was literally all the way across the continent (in Georgia!).
Seriously, you just never know.
Good point.
But orange/red hair is very rare there, is it not? :smalltongue:
Not at all...my hair's orange, in fact! Archie comics orange.
No, I don't live in Japan...but I'm going there this summer!!! :smalltongue:
Then how can you say that orange/red is not uncommon "at all" there?
But you're German-Canadian, 90% of Japans population have black hair...
I think, it's a high number anyway and the second most common is brown IIRC so orange hair should indeed be rare in Japan.
Just my two cents (Where'd I get cents? I'm not American :smalltongue:)
I think hair color seized to be a good identification the second color dyes were invented...
It seems like a long time since posting (and sketching!).
We had an important festival (), and now homework is very large...:smallfrown: I play violin on saturday, so I must practice everyday.
Being busy, when wanting to draw, I am too sleepy.
Being very unhappy with sketching, I want to make a finished picture...but being unhappy with the sketch, I have no interest to continue such a picture. It is a problem of inspiration and sleep. :smallsigh:
What's wrong with the sketch? It looks really good to me, i cannot really think of anything i would point out as bad about it.
My problem is not sketching, but inspired for a picture of sketching so much to want to make it a finished picture. Like of Kamome's picture, I sketched and colored, and like Tsukiha and Yori.
Today maybe some Touhou because of music and a secret.
Maiden of 9th
Momo (my character)
Konpaku
Challenge!
You've usually drawn the character whose theme is remixed, so what can you make of this Touhou Remix?
Also, Maiden of 9th reminds me of Byakuren with the scroll thing.
I think this is the idea for my new banner. Maybe I will 'clean it' sometime.
Maybe though it is not her 'theme-song,' but such a feeling is 'wide area' and 'seeing the world' to me. I played the song twice.
Aya
That's one awesome, serious looking Aya. I'd love to see what it looks like all cleaned up and colored. Also a nice change from her usual portrayal.
Hey Kasa-chan, love the banner! I don't recognize all the characters in it though...
Mir, Momo, Erima, Kamome, Tsukiha, Tomoya
Thanks.
I haven't been in all the RPs that Kasa-chan has.
Middle Semester Examinations is finished now, so I hope to draw more!
Takara and Erima comic
Of course, Takara transforming Erima has it's 'side effects' which maybe make Erima unhappy. Such is some of the humor. But of this one, only I realized recently. The translation maybe is strange. :smallredface Maybe it is too embarrassing.:
Mir
It is just a 'parody' of a video I saw on ニコニコ動画
Maid Kamome
Of Sylvia's idea, such a thought was funny to me.
Make haste, mere mortal, and post the documents of such frivolous expenditures!
(Damn, English class, damn you... :smalltongue: )
Sorry. I have a policy of not posting IRL pictures up on the internets.
It wasn't at Nara, though. They didn't eat his clothes, just tried to eat his bun. :smalltongue:
Ah yes, I remember this style of picture well from the ED of Bakemonogatari.
The stuff you've shown us today definitely looks like your best yet to me.
Awesome.
Creepy. :smalleek:Quote:

I'm wondering what Kasanip would turn out to something as bombastic as this song from Fullmetal Alchemist. :smalltongue:
I find it amusing interpretation of the character. It has the feeling of old murals - something her worshippers would paint into her temple. It's very nice ^_^
*tucks Kasa-chans sleeve* "Hey, you got to make one out of me too."
Oh, looks like Elder is jealous.:smallcool:
They say you notice new things about your work when you flip it.
Spoilerhttp://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...kaeri_flip.png
I considered changing the dialogue and making a joke about localisation, but meh.
Excellent as usual, Kasanip.
I also noticed a thing or two about your comic page, though...do you mind if I make a comment about it?
If drawing is flipped, many mistakes are visible. I often forget to do this.
Please. There are many mistakes and such. I know.
Alright then. I hope you like nitpicking!
Spoiler
One thing you might want to consider for future comics is the background. It seems that you were trying to help set the mood with the backgrounds you drew for some of the panels, but constantly changing the background in the following panels is somewhat disorienting. From what I've seen in manga, if you don't want to draw a background you're usually better off just leaving it blank (and you can get away with this if the image is a close-up of a character or two) rather than switching around among a variety of very different backgrounds. I think that a classroom scene (or similar) might fit the comic page best.
The middle panel's "lightning against dark background" feels a little off. From what I know about manga, using lightning like that is used to emphasize (usually for the sake of comedy) the fact that the two characters are being confrontational, that they're arguing with each other passionately. In the panel, Takara is the only one who's yelling and is being angry, while Erima is only being exasperated. Thus, the background and what's actually happening conflict.
The dialogue is a little off at times, but since English isn't your first language, it's fine. If you'd like, I can give you a hand with it.
Edit: Nevermind that, too many tabs up ><
New text relevant to THIS thread:
Amazed, fantastic etc. etc. I'm bloody jealous.
You wouldn't happen to be Tokyo based by the by? Since my girlfriend's actually there at the moment
I did not feel much from the song I am sorry. So I drew random characters. Maybe ソード・ワールド. Vey much poorly drawn for the girl.
Thank you very much! I am sorry, I do not live close to Tokyo.
It is a bleachitp joke. Drawing maybe 6 minute, so it looks poorly :smallfrown:
It's okay, I get that you might not feel much for the song .
For me... I associate that song with a revelation of something important.
Especially if it's got an emotional connection to some of the characters involved. Has to do with the scene in which I first really noticed it. :smalltongue:
When did you become Ranka, Kasanip?
Then again, you might be pretending to be Vladimir Putin instead, though that would be an altogether more horrifying prospect.
HNGH.
Death by moe.
Private conversations.
Challenge then, new song, hopefully new sketch
What do you make of this music sketch-wise? ;)
