Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Welcome to the 13th ABR Discussion Thread!
Because we used to burn through new ABR threads so quickly, we created the Discussion thread. 12 burned out in sixteen days :smalltongue: All banter goes here, and all comics and non-canon kills go in the Fight/Plot thread. (see line below)
Avatar Battle Royale: We All Live in A Yellow Citadel is the current thread. Post artwork here.

Wow! A completely content-ambiguous thread to post whatever strikes our fancy in!

Might want to add "Discussion" somewhere in the title.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Title certainly makes sense.

Well, now, I call dibs on the next thread. :smalltongue:

Madness? This is ABR, madness doesn't even begin to describe what happens here.

Well, this isn't madness as iceddragons said, THIS IS ABR! Heh, couldn't resist....
Random nightwing kill done! Now I just need some plot point where I can jump into the plot...

Hey I know, let's talk about space and science!

The sun's gonna get big and we're all gonna die

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
One day, all the stars will die without more being made, and eventually there'll only be one white dwarf in the whole universe with all the civilisations that have survived around it trying to get as much energy as they can, when that one dies, there will be nothing left but black wholes, and eventually, the whole universe will be sucked in to one point, then blown outwards and all the remains will create hundreds of other universes with completely different laws of physics and chemistry.
And here’s something to be depressed about, our universe is but single piece of dust floating in nothingness… and we’ve only travelled as far as the moon.
Even before you're born, you're already dying. :smalltongue:

You could always be a prisoner, since everybody's already in a jail. Or, if you want to be evil, you could perhaps be a security guard around the prison. You can be anything you want, as long as it makes sense and you don't cheat (god mod).

But unless we manage to secure enough H2, then that process wont last forever. And the universe is still expanding, making distances between stars even greater. Without worm holes or hyperspace jumps, travel wont be fesable even in the future.
Oh and nameless is right, all the stars will eventually die out, leaving black holes. Those in terms will cannibalise each other creating a supermasive black hole. But it wont last forever, since in time, black holes slowly lose an electron. In a long long time, black holes will be gone and the universe will truly be empty.
All we could do is migrate into another universe. Not without risks. Other universes may operate under totally different laws of physics and we could die as soon as we enter one.
The future is looking grim. (but Nameless will be happy )

Stars can fuse together much heavier elements than H2. After the trillions quadrillions of years this will take, so can we.

Time dilation means that travelling at very very close to the speed of light makes the journey take less time than it should. But then you get the twins paradox, and then you get a headache.

Conservation of Energy. It will not be empty.

Not all stars turn into black holes when they die, in fact, only the largest stars do.

Yes, but it is believed by many scientists that stars will eventually stop being replaced.

Indeed, but think about how many giant stars there are?
And no, the human race probebly won't live to see the day when there's only one white dwarf left floating about, but I believe in "Aliens" or other life.

Well, if the theory that there are many other universes out there, then that's probably what will happen.

I dunno about that, Humans are a pretty damn adaptable species. Only way I can see the entire species dieing out is if,
(A)Superior alien race decides this universe isn't big enough for the both of us.
(B) The human population still hasn't found any way to permanently settle on other planets, leaving us stuck on an over crowded world with dwindling natural resources.

Actually, I learnt once that by the time the our universe reaches this stage, there won't be enough (something beggining with "P" wich I forgot the name of) for us to even exist.
So unless we're able to build some sort of portal into a younger universe before this happens, we will be gone.

Black hole-causing stars are really very rare.

Or, considering the time frames referred to above, an overcrowded world that's being enveloped by the sun.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Oh a new thread. By the way disallowing people something because of race is racism.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIII, No Plot for YOU!
Yes, they're rare, but think about how big the universe is. So rare might mean a coupple billion for every galaxy.
And think about how many quadrillions of galaxies there are.

I agree but there is no change of humanity surviving that long, 1. Evolution would create new human races better than Homo Sapiens and evolve other creatures too like it did with dinosaurs. 2. A meteor at the same size of the one that destroied the dinosaurs will hit the earth in 270 mio. years.

I made a comic.
On another note... I hate being sick... I'd better be fine tomorrow...:smallfurious:
