Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
Those were great.
Secondary Thought

"Reach down into your heart and you'll find many reasons to fight. Survival. Honor. Glory. But what about those who feel it's their duty to protect the innocent? There you'll find a warrior savage enough to match any dragon, and in the end, they'll retain what the others won't. Their humanity."

Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
Well we wouldn't do current people stuff like, 'Sir Winston Churchill' who would have been 'Awesome Good' or something like that he was awesome, and crazy the perfect player character.
Though yeah you make a good point. Sometime they react a little bit to harshly to things.

If you can talk about him as real world politics, then it's not allowed by forum rules.
He fears his fate too much, and his reward is small, who will not put it to the touch, to win or lose it all.

Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
The problem is that discussing them in the context of the game would still require judgment calls and can spark real-world debate. For instance, trying to situate Obama in the alignment chart would require judging him and his actions, even if it's not openly debated. If you place him as Lawful Evil there will certainly be others who will think he's Chaotic Good, and vice versa.
Like one of the moderators (I think Roland) once said... if there's any hesitation or concern that it could be violating the rules, don't do it.
It's seriously not going to be that funny, anyway. Not worth the trouble it would be.

Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
Good point. And also you never discuss politics or the politicians until it is 20-30years after it as my rule.
So yeah also I'm coming to realize it's not that awesome of an idea. I'd give the reason for why I thought it was a good idea at the time but that is for me to know and you to question the legality of it.

Continuing the dump! Warning, truly massive number here.
Spoiler
Man! Remember the Daddy ones I posted back on page 12 or so? I found a great poster of the whole family, but then noticed that the scorpion-lady had bare breasts. That means I can't post it here, right? Note to self: This was page 52 where I found this pic.

No clue what comic this is, but I want to read it (Source?):
Think this is another from the previously mentioned cool comic, given the repeat of "Alex"...

I REALLY approve of the following:
Not sure what this is... Aperture something? GLaDOS Alchemical?
I read through over a hundred pages to find the best posters and repost them here. I may not post often, but when I do, I DO.Last edited by LibraryOgre; 2011-02-26 at 10:54 AM.

If you like these, they're mine. If you don't like them, I found them somewhere. Like a quantum particle, whether or not I created these posters is dependent upon your observation.

Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
The tiger one's come up before, with the full comic page (or at least more of it). Can't remember where it was from, though. Do a search for "tiger" or "rakshasa" in these threads and you'll probably find it.They do, and it wasn't quite what you were thinking of but I made a something for it:
Your harmless example already has room for argument. Yeah, it's a bad idea.Spoiler

Re: D&D Demotivators II: Return to Unnormal
aaaah, orange and blue morality..... I love making characters like that, if I don't specifically make them a hero, they are probably orange and blue.
