So, apparently Battle Moon Wars got an update a while ago with new content and upgraded graphics. I haven't played the original, but Saber Lily looks kickass. Also, according to TVTropes...

Expansion Pack: A Fan-made Expansion Pack named 'Battle Moon Wars: After The Tale' is in construction. It features non-TYPE Moon characters such as Shana, Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, Vita and Signum, Sakura Kinomoto and Keroberos, and currently on the plan... Touhou characters.

• Not to mention a generic enemy that...well, has a very NICE BOAT.

As the saying goes... DO WANT. I completed BMW a while ago and completely forgot about it to my shame. It was good fun, though for someone raised on the DnD CRPG ethos its rule system seemed frustratingly primitive.

I'm getting more and more dissappointed with Haruhi... So she"s tricking Mikuru into getting drunk and making out kissing Koizumi and when Kyon yells at her over it ("I"m the only one to get Mikuru drunk and make out!") she's the victim? WTH? I think she really deserved some spanking back then but nstead she gets petted.


'Nother note, I"ve seen "This ugly yet beutiful world" the last days and [s]was happy with the fanservice[/] was rather dissappointed since they wasted a show with two really nice fights for a romance. Though, I liked Jennifer for all her weirdness and being drunk (and getting a robot (or so) drunk.)

I've been entirely dissappointed in that series lately. Just been ignoring it and letting the subs pile up. I'll probally watch them eventually.

If you get all the Battle Masteries on any route, once you complete the new Stage 53, you get both Magical Amber and Saber Lily.

Really? Man, the adaptation aspect of the show seems to be getting worse and worse. I should catch up with it just because I don't really believe that this is the intended interpretation, but Endless Eight killed my enthusiasm and Sighs was a fairly dull novel in the first place.

Er, no. She feels like the victim because she's a self-centred bitch. And Kyon's the only one who says anything because the others are terrified of her. (I'll spoiler the rest.)

Nor would I say she "got petted when she should have been spanked". Her behaviour was so bad Kyon had to be physically restrained from punching her in the face. And not just in a flash of anger - her continued behaviour in that scene has him still struggling to break free and hit her. That's pretty strong condemnation and gets across the message that "you're doing a bad thing". The fact that Kyon later goes to patch things up is just telling her "but I don't think you're a bad person because of it, and I don't hate you". And it seemed to be working - note that she's thinking of him when he shows up at the clubroom (that split-second shot was genius, btw). The most important person in her world was the angriest he'd ever been with her, and it got through.

Yeah, i'm with Kami here. And notice that even in the end he never as much as indicates an apology. Also if you listen to Koizumi's dialogue she is already the most depressed she has ever been, more so than even the first half of the Melacholy 6 when she finally gives completely up on the world. That seems like a pretty harsh blow to me.
