Car are beeping, there is angry honking and swearing from many of them.

Off to the side a news crew is reporting on the whole thing,

"Caught on film earlier today a man in all black save for a Santa cap came running down 54th S.T. Today carrying a strand of Christmas lights. Channel 3 news will bring you more on this story just after the break."
