Chris just stands tall, obviously expanding some sort of authority and calm despite the rather bad situation.

"I understand. And I will be glad to let her go, like I said. However, you still haven't answered my question. I don't want to be hostile or stubborn, but to be quite frank I don't know who you are, or what your relation to this girl is. I also don't want any real harm to come to her."

Chris then gives the creature a small smile. "Perhaps I should introduce myself first. My name is Chris."

"I... understand." Orich mimics slowly, and his arms retreat into their sheathes. His speech is ordered, very concise as a Construct should speak, but also tinged with more human emotion. "Her safety is not your concern."

Then he adds, cautiously, "But I am called Orich. I am a..." He pauses, as if preparing a pre-programmed response. "A friend of her father."
