It seems that my drawing is steadily coming closer to becoming canon...
I sense that the next backstory-related revelation we have will be from Janine, though you've all probably figured that out already.
And I, for one, did notice the dramatic story-related weather change in the background. Sort of. I saw that it started raining, at least!
